A/n If you can't tell yet I'm obsessed with Percy Jackson and ship Percabeth this one is more like a super short story than an idea but you can expand and turn into a book.
Percy and Annabeth were sitting in central park enjoying their time together because you never knew what could happen when Annabeth starts turning to dust(Imagine if Annabeth was pregnant and that was her last words to Percy). After she says her last words Percy claws at the ground trying to collect what was left of Annabeth tears running down his face.
He researched recent events (he was observant enough to notice that mortals disappeared to) and found out that half the population was wiped out by Thanos. Thankfully he knew Thanos the god wouldn't do that those people could of been his followers. He wasn't brave enough to go back to camp he wouldn't be able to bear knowing who was dead. He lived on the streets and eventually found his way to New Asgard and spent his time with Thor as he knew his pain.
When the Avengers confronted Thor with their plan Percy overheard and snuck into their car as it was driving away. He would do anything to get Annabeth back according to Nico her soul didn't even make it to the underworld(btw half the underworld blipped).
Percy continues to stowaway in till they get to the planet. He then runs ahead of the Avengers to demand that Thanos bring everyone back. The Avengers are standing there watching a guy in his 20s runs up to the almighty Thanos wide eyed. They stop him before he gets seen by Thanos but when they get to him and stop him from getting close to Thanos he starts an earthquake and pushes them away with water!
