𝗣𝗥𝗢𝗟𝗢𝗚𝗨𝗘╰┈➤ Around a year ago, you were nothing, but a girl who had passion for two hobbies. And those two hobbies were none other than art and skateboarding. You couldn't compare them. You loved them both. Deeply of course.

After hearing rumors about an abandoned mine known as "S", you often find yourself sneaking out nights after nights to watch other skaters skate and start beef with each other. You would always bring your journal with you to take notes and data on the skaters when they skate for you to look over them when you practice yourself.

You were always amazed by their skating. They were amazing while you were mostly average only knowing a couple of tricks and moves. But you didn't mind though. You thought you were pretty cool yourself. None the less.

While Miya on the other hand, after heading to "S" for a bit, soon he acknowledge your presence. A young girl being the only same age as him visiting "S". No one including himself has ever seen you skate. He'd only seen you watching, playing video games, or taking notes when a beef starts.

Miya only seen you practice basic stuff. Nothing cool at all. He'd thought you as none other than a slime. Another weak person so he decided to challenge you to a beef.

༻✧༺

Here you were, a twelve year old girl whom was siting down against the fence playing on your video game. Miya skated on over to you. "Oi", He said earning your attention. You pause your game and look up at him dumbfounded. "I swear if it's not important for me to pause my game for this", You cursed in your head.

"I'd like to challenge you to a beef. To see which one is better", Miya held his skateboarding out grinning down at you. Your eyes widen at his challenge. No one had ever challenge or race against you. Especially a person around your age. You hesitated at first before nodding your head in agreement." Alright then, we'll race against each other in a week", He stared down at your small figure.

"Well then, should we bet something on our race", Miya stared at you waiting for an answer. "Well, I'm not quite sure with this so I'll let you decide", You reply. "Perfect", He smiled.

For the rest of the time before you race with Miya, you'd practice every time you had. Although, part of you doubted yourself, but you didn't turn down the race. It was actually your first after all.

When the day of the race came, you were nervous. A lot of anxieties craving up inside you due to your race and the loud crowd behind you. You then look over to your left seeing Miya stretching before getting into position. He glanced over at you grinning. "Ready to go?", He asked. Your nervousness turned into a serious face. You look forward and got into position. "Yeah", you nodded.

As the traffic lights counted down, the race began with Miya in the lead. You weren't mad. You'd stayed focus. You wouldn't want to lose your rhythm at the start of the race. "You know, I might not even have to do anything for me to win", Miya looked back at you.

You ignored his statement and rode passed him in a fast, but not too fast pace. As the race continued, you and Miya surpassed each other countless amount of times trying to win the race, but in the end, you ended up winning it. You were now in your own little dream. Wishing you could dance around in happiness, but if you were to do that, people would probably think you're some weird psycho girl that just won against THE Miya Chinen.

"How", Miya shouted out clenching his hands into a fist. You were snapped back into reality real quick with a blink of an eye. You quickly turned around to see Miya glaring at you with both of his fist clench. "I guess you could say luck. I'm still a bit new to skating so I wouldn't call my win against your skating a real one", You slightly laugh rubbing the back of your head.

His eyes widen at your statement unclenching his fist before looking down at the floor. You notice his change of expression and stared at him. "Have you ever actually find skating fun?". You asked. "Yeah, back then. When I was still a little boy. I guess you could say thing took a change of-", Miya was interrupted by you pinching his cheeks. "Idiot, I asked a question not a story-time", You scolded him. "I may not know your past, but I'm hoping we could skate against each other again", You said taking your hands off of him before giving your hand out. He stared at you for a moment before shaking your hand.

"I'm Y/n L/n by the way", You said giving him a warm smile as the two of you walked out the abandoned mine famously known as "S". "Miya Chinen, but you probably know who I am", He reply. "Mhm, I saw one of your interviews the other day. You were amazing", You stated before parting ways with him.

It was quite weird for him. Making friends again was the one thing he didn't want. Especially if they were gonna leave him. But he felt a strange aura around you that made him feel comfortable so he actually gave you a chance. But it didn't he fully trusted you. You basically had to earn it.

But from that day on, the two of you became friends learning more about each other. It was also surprising for him when he'd found out that you were attending the same middle school. But you'd promised him that you wouldn't leave his side so you saw why not.
