Chapter 7

Aoi POV

"AND MOUNT IT ON MY WALL!" Mother shouted as she chaced (y/n), "MOTHER STOP!" I said as I tackled her, "AOI GET OFF ME! I MAY BE AN OLD WOMAN, BUT I CAN MAKE SURE HE CAN'T DEFILE YOU!" she said, "Too late for that." I said, "What?!" she said, "Mother it was before he went to the final selection, that night I went to him to have one final happy memory in case he didn't return. It was my fault for escalating things to that point." I said, "Aoi, is this why you want to marry (y/n)? To cover up your shame?" she asked, "No, I love him, I want to be with him." I said, "Why?" she asked in disgust, "He's a slob unless you force him to clean up. He's oblivious to most things. And on top of the immense list of things wrong with him, he's my student. You two are practically siblings." she said, "WELL IT'S YOUR FAULT I FELL IN LOVE WITH HIM!" I said, "I spent so much time with him, I couldn't help but fall in love with him." I said, "I suppose you have to marry him at this point. However, I'm hesitant to welcome a demon into our family." she said as she got up, "So does this mean?" I asked, "Yes, you may marry (y/n)." she said, "Thank you, Mother." I said.

Tamayo POV

For the next few weeks, I diligently worked to prepare for my son's wedding, I would do the ceremony myself. "Lady Tamayo." Aoi said, "Yes dear?" I said, "How do I look?" she asked nervously as I turned and saw her wearing her wedding dress, she wore a snow-white kimono, a sash that was an off white color, her nails and lips were painted ruby red, and her hair was tied back into a bun that was held with a hairpin, "You look beautiful darling." I said, "Are you sure? I feel silly." she said, "No, why would you think that?" I asked, "Well I'm only sixteen. I don't feel that I deserve any of this." she said, "You deserve all of this dear." I said.
