"Welcome home...(y/n)," I said as my son ran past me and into our room slamming the door shut behind him, I went to our room and I could hear him crying, "(y/n), sweetheart I'm coming in!" I said as I opened the door and found my son crying in his futon, "Sweetheart what's the matter?" I asked as I sat him up and comforted him, "M...Mean!" He cried as he hugged me, "Is someone picking on you at school?" I asked he nodded, "Sweetheart, it will be alright. Mama will make everything alright." I said as I comforted him, "There's a festival going on tonight at the park, we'll go and get this all sorted out." I said as I dried his eyes.
(y/n) and I went to the festival, "Do you see them anywhere sweetie?" I asked he nodded and pointed at someone who was standing with their mother, we walked over and I tapped on the woman's shoulder, "Can I help you with something?" She asked politely as she turned to face me.

"Yes, I believe your child goes to school with my son." I said as (y/n) hid behind me, "He came home crying today and told me that your child was picking on him." I said, "What no, my sweet Aoi would never!" She said as a little girl popped her head out from behind her mother, I soon realized what was really going on and I couldn't help but laugh, "It seems there was a misunderstanding on my son's part. He thought Aoi was being mean, but it would appear that someone here has feelings for someone." I said as Aoi began to blush slightly when she saw (y/n), "Oh so this is the boy who stole my daughter's heart?" The woman said as I pulled (y/n) out from behind me, "It's nice to meet you. I'm Aoi's mother Asami." She said, "Would you and (y/n) like to join us?" She asked, "I would like to, unfortunately, I have other matters to attend to." I said, "Oh I see, well if you want I can watch (y/n) for you so he can enjoy the festival." She said, "That would be great thank you." I said as I bowed, "(y/n) Be a good boy for Miss Asami. You know how to get home on your own but I'll have Yushiro come find you later just in case." I said as I kissed his forehead before leaving.
I had just left the festival when I felt someone following me, "Aren't you supposed to be watching the children...Asami." I said, "I take it you know what I am?" Asami said, "I do, former demon slayer." I said, "And to answer your previous question, I am watching the children. I am fully aware of everything around them thanks to my hyper-awareness." She said, "That's also how I learned that you are a demon." She said, "What are you planning to do to (y/n)." She said, "Absolutely nothing, he is my child and I am his mother." I said, "How can I trust you, you're a demon!" She said, "Yes, but I'm also a doctor but above all else, I am a mother." I said. "Mama?" I said as miss Asami returned, "No sweetie your mother isn't coming back I'm sorry." She said as she ruffled my hair.
