Unlike yesterday, I was woken up by the familiar sound of my phone's alarm. The house was quiet, with no trace of my mother anywhere except for the cans of beer laying by the living room couch and the dirty dishes in the sink. Remembering that she works early on Tuesdays, I begin my way back up the stairs.

Inside my room, I changed into my uniform and went to brush my teeth and hair, still tired after sleeping for almost ten hours.

Walking down the stairs with my bag, I plugged my earphones into my phone. I grabbed the lunch box my mother prepared from the dining table and made my way to the door to put on my shoes. Hoping to get to school early so I could look around the school and get used to campus, I quickly ran out the door. As I put my earphones in my ears and turned on some of my favorite songs at low volume, I ran into someone, landing on the dirty street floor.

"I'm so so sorry," I told the unfamiliar girl, picking myself up. She looked to be wearing a uniform like mine, but instead of the pleated black skirt and white collared shirt the school gave us, she opted for a black mini pencil skirt and her shirt was cropped, though she was still wearing the tie and blazer that was given with the uniform. Looking down to brush the dirt off of my clothes, I was caught off guard, a hand grabbing my hair and pulling my head up, making me face towards the girl.

"What a loser!" She laughed, strengthening her grip on my hair. "Watch where you're going. Don't be a nuisance," she told me, her hazel-green eyes staring into my E/C eyes.

With a smirk on her face, she let go of my hair and pushed me away, "Now scram." Her doing so gave me a chance to run to school, leaving me relieved that I wouldn't have to deal with her any longer.

Finally arriving at school, I saw Keiji standing near the front entrance, accompanied by the one and only Bokuto. Tired of running, I was out of breath, panting for air to enter my lungs. "Why were you in such a hurry? It's still forty minutes before the bell rings. We have plenty of time," Keiji chuckled. "Oh. I just felt like running." I pause, allowing myself to breathe once again. "I don't think it was a good idea though..." I give him one of my brightest smiles, probably one of the fakest so far.

"Woah L/N, what's that on your cheek?" Bokuto piped in, catching me by surprise. I completely forgot about that.

"Oh- uh.. I walked into a wall pretty hard yesterday. I've been pretty clumsy these days since all I've been thinking about was... how much I miss eating ice cream," I let out a forced laugh, nudging his arm. Noticing that Bokuto's face was somewhat relaxed, I settled on that excuse.

Just as I finished telling them my amazing story, I noticed the fourth person in our group. "Oh, hey, it's Konoha," I brought up, thankful that Konoha came just in time to change the subject.

Konoha made his way towards us, waving at us and flashing a soft smile, earning himself some waves and smiles of our own. "This woman crashed into a wall. Do you believe that?" Bokuto asked Konoha, pointing at the bruise on my face. "I do," he replied, letting out a soft laugh.

Making our way around campus, the boys gave me a brief tour of Fukurodani Academy and showed me where the gyms were, where the principal's office was (for in case I forgot), and where to find the restrooms.

With a few minutes left until the bell rang for class to start, we walked towards the entrance of the main building, changing into our inside shoes upon entering, where we parted ways to go to our separate floors. Keiji and I made our way into our class, taking out our notebooks for another day of notes.

boring.
