"I'm going to miss you guys", I told them in a shaky voice, a few stray tears falling onto my cheek. I never thought looking at the Karasuno volleyball team would bring me this much sadness. All of us were standing outside of Coach Ukai's shop, my mother's car ready to drive the 5 hours it would take us to get to Tokyo.

"We're going to miss you too, L/N. We hope you have a great time at Fukurodani." Daichi, the team captain, told me as he gave me a soft smile. That smile reminded me of all the fun times the team had during practice, all the times we had stayed late to prepare for an upcoming match, all the times he cheered for the team even when we had lost a game. Nothing would be able to replace Karasuno's spot in my heart.

"YOU WERE GREAT MANAGER L/N-SENPAI!" Hinata suddenly yelled, making me flinch.

"Hinata", Daichi quickly said, glaring at him.

"Oh right, sorry...", Hinata replied in a defeated tone, backing away with a guilty look on his face.

The team had this unspoken rule that whenever I joined them for practice, the boys tried their best not to be as loud as they usually were. You would think that the ball hitting the floor would be too loud for me to handle, but I learned to always carry a pair of earplugs with me during practice. However, sometimes I would forget to bring them with me and the weird trio of the team (Hinata, Nishinoya, and Tanaka) would forget that said rule. They can get a little out of hand sometimes, but I'm glad they're here to keep the team in high spirits.

I looked towards Kiyoko and Yachi, the third and first-year managers of the Karasuno team, giving them a sad smile. "I'm sorry to leave you guys with these children. Take care of them for me."

Kiyoko walked up to me, grabbed my arm, and whispered, "I'll make sure Daichi deals with them later," winking before she let go and backed away into the crowd.

"You guys better keep me up to date with what happens!", I say to them. I hoped telling them that would keep them determined for their upcoming match instead of having them worry about me like I know they would. Their next match was against another school from outside the prefecture. I heard they were a good team, but I know Karasuno will win. After all, they won against multiple powerhouse schools and made it to nationals.

Aoba Johsai couldn't relate, though.

Spreading my arms open, I walk up to everyone and hug them, hoping everyone would comply. Tsukishima didn't join us, though, and instead turned around to hide his face. Yamaguchi nagged at him and reached out to grab his arm, but didn't look surprised when Tsukki swatted his hand away. "Gomen, Tsukki."

I'll let it slide this time.

I chuckled to myself, as I waved goodbye to everyone.
