His Evil (Most Likely Abandoned)

His Evil ~ 4

 Yay! Update!! Okay, so I know its been a long time (I posted something on that) But I am back- probably not for long but I do have a four day weekend coming up, so we will see what happens! 

  Ani didn't just jump out of her bed, she flew like a cat hitting water. The loud thump had her groaning, clutching her arm as she quickly looked up to her bed from the ground.

Nothing. Absolutly nothing.

Was she dreaming? Startled to her feet, Ani grabbed hold of her blanket, pulling it off the bed and flowing onto the floor. No. Was she going mad? She swear she saw...

What did she see?

She shook her head, rubbing her arm. "I'm going crazy." She muttered, "Probably going rouge. Can that happen?... Ugh." She grumbled, picking up the blanket from off the floor and setting it down on the bed.

A shiver racked through her body, remembering that the window was still open. Grabbing the top of the glass, she shut it with a screech. "Damn wind gave me nightmares." A nightmare. Sighing with relief, she knew it only had to be a nightmare.

It was deadly silent in her room, dark too with just the moon from the sky glooming in light. The entire house was quiet, a haunting silence. Grumbling profanities, Ani decided she didn't want to be in the disgusting house anymore. Maybe a walk would sooth her mind. 

Opening her door and tumbling down the broken wooden steps, she grabbed her black coat and converse, not caring that she was wearing shorts. She was a werewolf, after all.

For what seemed like forever, Ani walked the dark sidewalk in silence, letting her thoughts wander. She didn't dare think about the horrible life she had in the pack, the rank she never had, her mom, who didn't deserve the life they had- all because of her. She didn't dare think about her wolf, who was non-existant and would never surface because the spirits hated her, and decided that her- of all people didn't get to be happy. 

No. Happiness wasn't an option since she turned one. 

Crying wasn't something she did often, in fact- she only cried when her dad left. Because of her. Her mom suffered the pain of her mark being torn apart, heartbreak- Because of her. 

Slowly, the tears that couldn't be held back, slipped down her cheeks and onto the pavement as Ani felt herself crumble. She was tired. She was sad. She was unhappy. And, she was alone. 

Not realizing that now, her surroundings were of giant trees and dirt ground, Ani fell in front of a fallen tree, tears soaking her face as she sobbed. And sobbed. And sobbed.

Alpha Kane sat in his chair, looking over at the Lycans that occupied his office. They were looking, touching almost everything he had. "Alpha Kane, you seem to have a large pack. Expanding well over the years. I'm very impressed." Lycan Conri nodded at the Alpha, looking at the large painting that hung on the wall. A wolf- black as night howling at the moon. 

"Thank you, King Conri. I've been working hard, as you can see." The Alpha didn't stutter. That was unprofessional. 

Sitting down, The King looked at Alpha Kane, analizing him with his bight silver eyes. "How many challangers are there to take your position when you retire? I hear that your son got your leading gifts, aswell."

The Alpha nodded, "Yes, he has. There only have been a few, since their wolf hasn't matured yet and gotten their scent. We will know in a few months or so."

"And how is your Luna?" Queen Lupa asked, her voice light and delicate as she sat down in the other chair with grace.

Smiling, The Alpha was happy to talk about his Luna. "Very good, she should be asleep. She's had a nasty cold for a few days and needs her rest. I'm terribly sorry that she isn't here right now."

With a dissmiss of her hand, Queen Lupa smiled, "Oh it's alright. I guess I will introduce myself tomorrow. I have a good feeling we will be great friends."

"That sounds wonderful, Queen Lupa." Kane smiled, "May I ask, Your Highness and Grace, why you are here?"

"We are taking wolves."

"T-Taking wolves?" Alpha Kane sputtered, confused.

Nodding, King Conri continued, "You see, Alpha, our kingdom has been blocked off for some time now, i'm sure you know." Alpha Kane nodded, "But now, we are starting to allow others in- to fight and protect their King and Queen."

"An army?"

Conri nodded, "Of sorts." 

"W-What f-for." 

The King and Queen got up from their seats, "I'm afraid Alpha, that this is to be discussed in the morning. Me and my Luna are tired from our trips."

Bowing his head, Alpha Kane got up, "Of course, your Highness. My Beta will escort you to your rooms. Your son has already been escorted aswell."

Nodding in thanks, The King grabbed his Queens hand, walking out but leaving his power and aura still in the office. With a tired sigh, The Alpha fell in his chair with his hand on his head. "I need a sleeping pill."

His eyes glowed from the forest. Anyone could see them if they looked, especially the Lycan King Conri, as he looked out the big window and into the woods. With narrowed eyes, he watched the silver like it watched him.

"Are you coming to bed, dear?"

Conri nodded, "Yes sweets." He answered, narrowing his eyes as he let his gaze drop from the glowing silver and headed to his Luna and wife. 

His brother wouldn't make an appearence just yet, if he knew him correctly.

  Not yet.

Hey! Its short but atleast it's something! I know, I know, we havent seen to much drama just yet with Ani, but as you see, the plot is starting up from here.

Question: Should this book have good intentions, or bad? Would you rather have the main character go evil or leave it good where the main character is all 'I forgive you because im just that type of person'

There aren't a lot of books that are evil. Normally, the main character forgives all her bullys and never hurts anyone and blah blah blah. Isn't that a little boring to you guys? Idk. You tell me.
