 Ani gripped the lawnmower with all her might, trying to push it forward to cut the grass in front of the pack house. She was out of breath already, her body exausted from doing chores all day. 

 Do the kitchen. Do the bathroom. Do the lawn. 

She was one girl! How do they expect her to finish everything in a day!?

Grunting, Ani gave up, running her hand over her forehead to get rid of the sweat, "Stupid fucking Alpha, stupid fucking Oldens. Stupid. Fucking. Lawn!" She grumbled under her breath, kicking the machine that wouldn't budge.

"You shouldn't curse out our Alpha like that! Especially the Oldens! They will shred you to pieces!" Ani glared at the omega, a girl named Haylee that gets picked on by the other wolves in the pack.

"Oh fuck off!" Ani snarled, looking back to the machine that wouldn't move. She's so done with this shit, she thought, shaking her head as she used all her might to push the mower. Finally, after rumbling, the old metal moved over the grass.

"Thank god!" Ani shouted, throwing her hands in the air before returning to the lawn. 

Hopefully the stupid machine would not act up again untill she was done. Hopefully, when it was Haylee's turn to do the chores, it wouldn't even start up. 

Ani sighed under the fresh water that pelted onto her back. Finally done all her chores, she could shower, eat, and sleep and not have to face anyone else. If they made her do anything else, she knew she'd snap and break someones nose into millions of pieces.

She laughed, the sound vibrating through the room. Yeah, maybe breaking someones nose would earn her a place in her pack. 

Getting dressed in short pajama shorts and a long shirt, Ani sighed as she entered the warm blankets and instantly, her eyelids fell shut.

Alpha Kane sat in his chair, looking down at the paperwork before him. It seemed that even if he did all of it, it didn't even make a dent in all the work he was suppose to do. It was frustrating. 

He sighed, signing the paper then moving to the next one. It was a complaint, from the shifter teacher about Shivani Laden leaving class early and without permission. 

The Alpha rubbed his eyes. Shivani Laden was the least of his worries right now. The little pup had the spirit name of a wolf that cause a horrible crime, and doing what was right to keep her spirit from harming others, he stopped her shifting. 

It was for the good of the pack.

Bang! Bang! 

"What!?" Kane growled, glaring at his Beta that walked in. 

Beta Ryan had wide eyes, panic oozing out of him as he raced through the door and confronted his Alpha, "T-The.. T-The.." 

Kane grumbled, "Spit it out, Ryan."

"The Oldens are h-here..!"

The Alpha was quick on his feet, the chair he was once sitting in banging into the wall and making a dent. Eyes wide, he quickly went through his paper work, putting them on one side of the desk in a frantic hurry. The Oldens are here... When? How? They weren't suppose to be here for atleast a few months...!
