Minor Arcana - Cups Suit

Cups typically speak about emotions, love and emotional availability. It has a lot of emotional energy and they relate to water signs!

Ace of Cups:
- New relationship (could be a friendship or love relationship)
- It can also mean a new reason to celebrate and be thankful
- In a love reading this can mean that someone is about to get a new start in love.

Two of Cups:
- A divine partnership - even energy and an equal relationship
- Can relate to a lover's energy but it's very multiplied and large

Three of Cups:
- Talks about friendship and enjoying your time with them
- Can also mean family and socialising with them
- This could also talk about cheating (Three being a crowd)

Four of Cups:
- Focusing on love that has been lost
- Seeing that they are unable to see the love that is right in front of them
- There is an energy of going within and finding yourself
- There is a time to be sad and now but you should be picking yourself up as there is still love around us

Five of Cups:
- Being completely down about the live that is around you
- There is loss and rejection but there is still hope for love around you
- It carries a similar energy to the Four of Cups however it shows grief and extreme loss
- It is mourning and grief - much more serious than the Four of Cups

- Relates to childhood and nostalgia
- It could be someone coming back from your past
- It carries very childlike energies

Seven of Cups:
- A reminder that you should focus back on reality and that you should pay close attention to what's in front of you
- It could come from a long journey (emotional or physical) and that you just need to get back in sync

Eight of Cups:
- Talks about wanting change and newness in your life
- It could be leaving behind chaos and drama in your past
- Deciding that what you're currently doing isn't right and moving onto something new

Nine of Cups:
- It shows satisfaction and enjoying your time with friends/family
- Talks about the love that you share with those around you

Ten of Cups:
- Essentially a fairytale.
- You are being rewarded by the love that you have been waiting on and the love that you have been wanting
- It brings a beautiful energy and finally having things that come your way in full circle

Page of Cups:
- This is about someone who is trying to impress you
- It has a teenage energy about it so it could be someone who is immature and tries too hard
- They do anything possible to try to impress you and gain your satisfaction
- It could also be someone trying to gain your love and compassion
- They manifest and they are crazy about you!

Knight of Cups:
- There is a strong soulmate energy and fate
- This is about someone who is trying to prove their love to you, they want to serenade you
- This person is really trying to dedicate themselves to you and want to be with you deeply

Queen of Cups:
- Gives off a very divine and feminine energy
- They have such a big heart and always have love to spare, love to give
- It is given openly and freely
- This person doesn't wish for anything back. They just give because they like to give

King of Cups:
- This is very fathering energy
- They too have a lot of love to give and spare
- They are emotionally sound and can freely give love and support
