A/N:

Hey, you guys, I know It's long. But that's good right, all my other chapters are super short, so decided to change things up a bit! Hope you like it, and vote please. Plus comment, I need to know my mistakes. Besides, who doesn't like to point out other people's failures?

——-

When we get out into the battlefield, we immediately start fighting. We know that if you die, you revive, but we try not to, for the sake of the game. I release arrow after arrow, while my sister Leilah keeps whacking people with her ice whip. Yes, you go girl! Keep on slamming people with a whip, I think. Then I think, I really am crazy.

Along the way, we take down Sona and Jarvan IV. They thrash like crazy when I shoot them, but then they disappear. We cross an icy landscape that only lasts for 5 seconds, and casually enter enemy territory, Demacia. All the turrets start shooting at us, and we duck and dodge, going behind our minions, so they get attacked first. Then we pursue our next target: Garen. Garen wears thick and strong armor, in the colors gold and blue. He's actually very easy to spot. Garen is the head of the team, he's the main fighter, so it only makes sense if we take him out first. What makes him hard to get is his backup. If he gets too many hits, he goes and gets Jarvan IV, an together, they are so OP, you can't even see yourself get hit at all.

Jarvan IV also wears armor, but his is strictly gold, plus a crown. He's just gonna swing his battle axe all over the place, along with your guts. So, Leilah and I make sure to be extremely careful. We cross lots of trees, bushes, where someone might conveniently gank us, and finally get to their home base. I breathe deeply, smelling the strong scent of undergrowth, Demacia's foreign landscape, and also combined with Freljord's sweet smell of ice. I smile crazily, We made it! We didn't die! And that's when Garen steps out. And he looks exactly like my boyfriend, Paul.

His eyes are glazed over and a warm honey brown, unlike my Paul's gorgeous blues. He looks different too, more stiffer, more hard, more not Paul. When he swings his sword threateningly at me, I gasp. He will hesitate no more to kill me.

That's when my laugh dies in my throat. No, this can't be!

"Hello, dear Ashe." He says my name like it's a virus, all while I'm thinking No, no, no, no, no, no, no. He smiles a wicked smile, a kind of grin that makes my heart tumble all the way to my stomach. Then he laughs, or cackles really. And a tear slips down my throat.

"And sweet little Sejuani, sisters working together again, surprised you aren't at each other's throats by now. Last time I met you, you were fighting over a piece of bread." He laughs again. And it's true, Leilah and I were fighting over a piece of buttered toast in the Cafeteria, but he doesn't know this, I can see it in his eyes. Too glazed over to think straight. Leilah and I are silent, she knows how much Paul means to me. She knows I'm hurting, but we stay quiet.

"But enough dilly-dally, time to kill you. I will avenge my teammates, if it's the last thing I do." Then he charges, and then, instead of shooting him, I side-step. And he goes right through where I've been standing. He turns around, red-faced now, but I give him no mercy, he can get mercy from Leilah. I punch him in the nose, blood splurting out of the wound, then Leilah and I tie him up with some ropes we found on the side of the road, next to an abandoned cart, and punch him one more time. For good measure.

"Hey, Paul, it's me. You're girlfriend." I tell him. He looks confused.

"What are you talking about? I am Garen, and my only girlfriend is Katarina!" He shouts. Then he covers his mouth, as if what he said was by mistake. I smile.

"I thought Katarina was from Noxus?" I hear Leilah say from behind me, and I know we've got Paul, or rather Garen, cornered.

"You really don't remember us?" I ask, with hope. He shakes his head, "Well, then maybe this will." I give him a kiss right on the lips, and Leilah turns away, like always. When I pull back, Paul's eyes are still blank and empty, are still Garen.

"I'm such an idiot. Of course that wouldn't have worked." I turn away and brush away a stray tear, but when I'm 5 steps the other way, Garen calls out.

"Missy?" He croaks. I turn back and rush at him, hugging him tight. I'm crying, and weeping, and Leilah's just rubbing my back. I take a step back.

"Is it really you Paul?" I ask.

"Yeah," He answers, "It's me. Or else, how do I know you're favorite ice cream is Caramel Crumble at the place downtown?" Then I know for sure it's him. I give him one more hug before pulling back.

"Hey, we gotta go. I think I figured out what's wrong with this place." Leilah says. I nod to her. And we follow, right into the heart of Ionia, where I hope to find my other friends. Alive and well, hopefully.
