"Off to Erwin's?" Mike asked (Y/n).

They had just finished a meeting with their squad about a small expedition they'll be going to in the next few days.

"Yeah." (Y/n) said, turning to Mike and waiting for him to catch up. "I'm going to give him the cookies early, since the usual day will be when we're on the expedition."

Mike and (Y/n) walked side by side in the hall. They keep quiet, nothing but their thoughts to eat them away.

"Are you nervous?" Mike's quiet voice spoke out. If the hallway was nosy no one would be able to hear him, but lucky for (Y/n) it wasn't.

"..I don't know..." (Y/n) stared forwards, lost in his mind. "...Maybe a little..."

"...That's normal." Mike tried comforting his friend.

(Y/n) sighed as he frowned and scratched the back of his neck. He then looked at Mike and smiled.

"I'm sure it'll be fine." (Y/n) got closer to Mike as he nudged his side. "Besides... I got you to look after me."

Mike smiled as he went along with their usual saying before leaving for a mission.

"And you me..."

"I should hurry and give these to Erwin or I'll have no time to." (Y/n) said as he started leaving Mike's side. "See you later, Mike."

(Y/n) smiled as he waved at Mike. Walking away he watched Mike return the gesture.

(Y/n) walked through a few halls as he finally reached Erwin's office. He stood in front of the door as he lifted his hand and knocked.

"Name?" A deep voice called from behind.

"It's (Y/n)." (Y/n) waited still as he waited for Erwin to let him enter.

"Enter."

(Y/n) opened the door to find a busy Erwin sitting, his desk filled with papers as he wrote away without looking up.

"Are you busy?" (Y/n) ask even though it was an obvious answer.

Erwin looked up as he set his pen down. He cupped his hands together and sent a smile to (Y/n)'s way.

"Just the normal amount. Is there anything I can do for you?"

(Y/n) sighed in relief, knowing that he hadn't interrupted something too important.

He then reached into his pockets and pulled a small bag of cookies as he walked closer toward Erwin's desk.

"I wanted to give you these." (Y/n) said as he placed the cookies in front of Erwin. "I won't be here on the usual day, so I decided to give them to you early."

(Y/n) watched as Erwin grabbed them and smiled.

"Thank you, (Y/n)." Erwin nodded his head as he showed his gratefulness.

"Well..." (Y/n) said slowly walking away. "I should get going. It's going to be two whole busy days before the expedition."

"...Wait." Erwin called out causing (Y/n) to stop. "I want to talk to you for a bit, if you have the time."

"Of course." (Y/n) smiled as he turned back around towards Erwin. "What did you want to talk about?"

Erwin placed the cookies to the side for a bit and looked at (Y/n) making eye contact.
