The BigInnit Hotel

Tubbo, Ranboo and I took a few steps back to admire our work. The newly constructed building stood at the top of the cliff and bridged off the cliff being suspended over the water filled cave by wooden suspenders. Walking into the house, I had a few furnaces, a crafting table and a small table and chairs (stairs). Upstairs was my bedroom. Tubbo took the liberty of giving me an armor stand and some bells. I also had some book shelves and a bed. The basement had some brewing supplies including a cauldron and barrels to hold ingredients that Ranboo gifted to me. I also had a couple blast furnaces to speed up the smelting process that would come later. Back on the main floor, I crossed the bridge to the final part of the house. There wasn't anything until I went downstairs where I laid three beds for potato's and carrots, a compost bin and a barrel. The attic was used to store anything I collected.

"I think it looks great!" Tubbo exclaimed. Ranboo hummed in agreement. "Thank you guys so much!" I smiled at both of them. "Now that you have a place to live, you should get some armor and better tools." I nodded at Tubbo's suggestion. "Here's to a long few hours of mining I guess."

5 HOURS LATER

I walked up the steps of my new home to put the materials I had just mined into my storage room. I'm total, I'd gotten a couple stacks of iron, 45 pieces of gold ore, and enough coal to last a month. The best part were the 25 diamonds I held in my hand. I took a pit stop in my basement to start smelting the iron and gold and then made my way to the storage room to put away everything else I had collected. I kept some wood, food and torches on me for later.

I walked back to the basement to take the iron and gold out of the blast furnaces. I turned the gold ingots into blocks and used the iron to make a temporary set of armor in case I came across any mobs. I didn't have to worry about any other members of the SMP seeing as no one else was on.

After a few minutes of crafting, cooking food and smelting, Sapnap, Sam, Bad, Tommy, Tubbo, Ranboo, Fundy, Jack, Techno, Phil, Niki, CaptainPuffy, and Antfrost all joined the server.

Gr1m: Whats going on guys?

Tubbo_: Tommys having an opening ceremony for his hotel

Tommyinnit: YEAH you coming or not?

Gr1m: Yeah sure. I'm in Snowchester tho

Ranboo: Same

Ranboo: VC?

"Hey...before you go into the call, we have to talk about something..." Dr. Brown's soft voice sounded in my head. "Where have you been? I've been alone for the past five and a half hours." I said sassily. Dr Brown sighed. "The world is still moving outside of your head. Anyways, as I was saying, we've made some modifications to the system. It's kind of like proximity chat. Just walk up to someone to talk to them. That way, you can do voice chats even when I'm not here."

"What? For real?" My eyes widened. Ranboo asked if I was joining VC in chat so I said I was working on it. Dr. Brown confirmed my disbelief. I sprinted to the bridge where Ranboo was.

"Ranboo?" I crouched next to him and mentally crossed my fingers. "Hey. Ready to go?"

I couldn't contain the sounds of excitement and squeezed loudly. Ranboo's surprised laughter forced me to realize what I was doing. "S-sorry..." I looked down at the ground in embarrassment. "It's alright. Why're you so excited though?" Ranboo looked at me and chuckled again. I struggled a bit with myself. Do I tell him? It's not like he'd tell anyone. Plus, what's wrong with my situation? "They made it so I can join the VCs when I'm near them in game." I chose to talk like it was normal. "Uh...What? Proximity chat isn't on the server though..." Ranboo continued to watch me stare at the ground below me.
