As soon as they arrived the girls' senses were immediately overwhelmed. Contrasting to the peacefulness and serenity of the Up, the Down was loud and hectic. It was hard to see where exactly they were due to all the flashing neon lights but they seemed to be some sort of party scene. This party was unlike any Lavender had been to down on earth, it was everything she had known and more. Every light was brighter, every sound louder and every person more energetic than the last. People all around were coming up to the three girls to greet them. Eroda knew many of the beings there but there were also many she didn't know. Everyone there seemed very eager to make new friends and have more fun. 'For a place that's meant to host all those who commit more bad deeds than good in their mortal life, this place sure does seem like a lot of fun.' Lavender thought to herself.
Eroda instructed Lavender and Adore to follow her to what seemed like a bar. At the bar, she began speaking, "Welcome to the infamous Down ladies. Here all of your deepest darkest party wishes and fantasies can come true. Unlike in the Up, we don't have time down here to relax and rest, we party for eternity. Saying as were all immortal beings all the natural needs you would experience up, on Earth, such as tiredness, don't affect us so we never need to stop. We just walked through the main party area more commonly known as 'Down Center', across the down there are multiple different party stops but this is in my personal opinion the best one. Over to the left, you can see the main tattoo and piercing parlor; I actually got my first tattoo there - this little elephant here on wrist. Right next door to the parlor is what I like to call the 'Snooze Fest'. It's a hair salon and possibly the most boring place you can be here. Yes, it does make you look pretty neat but honestly, you just sit there for hours while they do your hair, there really is nothing to do while you're there, but I guess getting your hair done does have some perks to it.". Lavender was taken slightly aback by Eroda's last words. She pondered how getting their hair done could possibly be the least energetic thing to do there. 'There must really be a lot to do if that's the most boring.' she silently thought to herself.
Eroda got up from the bar and once again and began walking. The other two quickly got up and followed. They kept on walking for about 10 minutes until they reached a ropes course. "This is where I like to spend a lot of my time.", began Eroda, "I can spend hours on end just roaming this course and still not be done. Unlike the ones on Earth, this ropes course is never-ending. You simply get on and off whenever you feel like it. It absolutely fabulous." The girls roamed around the Down for about an hour more, stopping every so often to let Eroda explain an activity or location, before heading back to Down Center to return to the Field of Lost Souls.
Once they returned to the field Lavender was presented with the question of where she would like to spend the rest of eternity. They both intrigued her greatly as she knew there was so much more to them apart from what she had seen. Lavender pondered for a moment before finally committing her last good deed, "I think I'll go to the Up.", she said with a smile growing on her face, "That way Adore can finally earn her Halo and spend the rest of eternity with all of her friends.". Adore was ecstatic. They said their dragged-out goodbyes to Eroda and for the last time left the Field of Lost Souls for the Up.
