Chapter 5

/Shine's POV/

As we talked to Jungwon about the modern world, a familiar figure came flying down.

"Sunoo!!!" I called out which he heard.

Once he landed on the ground, Jimin's jaw dropped.

"You're a—"

"He's a eagle hybrid, okay??" Heeseung interrupted.

"Actually I'm a hybird. Get it??" Sunoo laughed.

"Yeah, we get it Sunoo" I sarcastically said as I reached him for a hug.

"So how's the modern world?"

"Eh, same as ever. Still with the busy people and new devices" I explained.

Once I let go of the hug I looked around. "So where's Niki??"

"I dunno. That hybrid has been flying everywhere" Sunoo shrugged.

"We should really need to take care of that dongsaeng" He added.

"And by "We" you mean "You". You're a eagle, I'm a cat, Heeseung hyung's a cat. The trio guards are dog hybrids. So you're the only who can fly so he's your responsibility" Jungwon corrected.

"Whatever" Sunoo gave up.

Jungwon gave a victory smile.

Then another sound of a eagle came flying down.

"Niki!" I called out.

"Hey Shine" He paused to to realize to situation. "Shine?!" His eyes widen.

"Hey Nik" I was met with a hug.

"I miss you" He whispered.

"I missed you too, Niks" I giggled.

"Hey Nik" Heeseung greeted.

"Hyung!" He yelled as he let go of me and to Heeseung.

"Glad you're back" He said which all of us had heard.

"Yeah" Heeseung replied back.

"So I heard you're on a quest" Niki said.

"Yeah, we're gonna save Jin hy—" Heeseung was interrupted by the trio.

"JIN HYUNG'S IN TROUBLE?!!?!?" Jungwon, Sunoo and Niki yelled in unison.

"Yeah, so I'm guessing you wanna come too?"

"Definitely"

"But when will we go?" Sunoo said.

"As soon as the king approves the quest." Namjoon explained.

"So let's get going back to the castle yeah?" Heeseung interrupted.

"Let's go" I said as I walked along with Jimin, who was quite the whole time.

Both of us were behind the rest so that gave the perfect opportunity to talk to him.

"Hey Jimin, you okay?" I asked as he flinched.

"Ummm, yeah. It's just, it's kinda weird meeting hybrids. Sure I saw one when I was little, but I didn't expect that they'd been living in this world"

"Jimin, the world here is different compared to the modern world we have now. This world had royalty, the modern world had business. This world has horses and carriages for transportation, the modern had trains, cars, and other vehicles. So if humans exist in the modern world, creatures live in this world" I explained placing my hand on his shoulder. "You know what I mean?"

"Yeah, I think I kinda get it now"

"By the way, I just wanna talk some things about you"

"Sure go ahead"

"What's your birthdate?"

"October 13"

"Year?"

"1995"

I stopped in my tracks.

The others must have heard our conversation and stopped too.

"No, it can't be" Namjoon stuttered.

"Hyung, you gotta be kidding" Heeseung hesitated.

"Seriously Heeseung, you have been with me for the past 2 years and you really didn't know my birthday" Jimin pouted.

He can't be him, he disappeared 18 years ago......

"Jimin, tell me again your full name?" I asked.

"Park Jimin"

"And can you tell me what are parents job?"

"Ummmmm, my Dad works as a CEO while my mom handles a flower shop in Busan"

"They did say anything to you about their past?"

"The only thing they said that when they were young back then, Dad used to be a wizard while Mom used to be a goddess of the nature" He explained before chuckling. "Of course those were just stories my parents use as bedtime stories when I was little"

"Jimin" Namjoon stuttered again.

"Why are your faces like that??" Jimin asked.

"Jimin, your father..." Namjoon paused.

"Is the most powerful wizard alive in this world"

"W-What?" Jimin asked, unsure of what he just heard.

"Jimin, your father is the most powerful wizard that ever lived" I repeated. "And your Mom is the Goddess of Nature. The Parks has always been the most powerful family in history" I explained.

"That's means, I'm a wizard??" Jimin asked in disbelief.

"Yes"

/Heeseung's POV/

I can't believe it, he's the son of the most powerful wizard.

Our parents told us when we were young about the tales of his father.

And that's how we know about it.

But after all these years??

"I can't believe it" Jimin hyung mumbled.

"Well you should" Niki said, earning a smack from Sunwoo.

"Shut up Niks, you're no help"

"H-How can it b-be? It's i-impos-sible. M-Mom a-and D-Dad n-n-never l-lie to m-me" Jimin stuttered.

And with that he broke down.

After that breakdown, Jimin hyung fell asleep in Namjoon hyung's arms.

We sent him to the spare room and we let him sleep.

The rest of us gathered up at the rooftop. The 3 dog hybrids came along as well.

"So, how's the other world??" Sunghoon asked.

"Eh" Shine shrugged. "Nothing changed much. But it's totally different from our world"

"Definitely" I agreed.

"So, do we got the king's approval?" Niki changed the subject.

"Yeah, we'll leave tomorrow..... " Namjoon trailed off. "Sunoo, Niki and Shine, you'll fly"

"No problem" The 3 of them answered in unison.

"Well bring the carriage. We'll take turns driving it. And the rest will ride the horses. If one of us gets tired, we'll sit inside the carriage okay?" Namjoon explained.

"Yep"

"Good. We'll also be meeting the 4 spirits on our way there"

"Yep"

"Are you gonna say Yep all the time or will you finally pack up your things?"

"Yep!"
