Dear Michael,

I'm writing you this letter because I couldn't bring myself to simply tell it to your face. Seeing you a year later really was the wake up call I needed to know things.

You looked good. You've always looked good. From the navy blue suit you wore tug against your body, to your perfectly curled hair resting on your broad shoulders. It felt so surreal seeing you. Especially after everything.

I hope you and your fiancée are happy. I would never try to ruin a relationship, I'm simply writing you this letter because I feel you have the right to know how I feel.

I feel like you're the man I was supposed to be with. I fell in love-hard. You always showed me respect, loved me the way I should be loved, and never made me feel guilty for taking time for myself. If you would've told me two years ago that I would start an affair with my boss and end up getting pregnant with his child and losing it, I would've called you a psycho.

We had fun. Not just the sex but everything else. You were more than an affair to me. You were special. We were special. What we had was special.

You made me feel things no other man could. You never belittled me. You never made me feel smaller than you. You treated me right.

I should've never went back to him. I should've never left you for him. Because he ended up lying.

I guess I just wanted to let you know that I love you. You don't have to feel the same, I don't expect you to. I just wanted to let you know.

You deserve the world, Michael. You're truly a good man. Too pure for this world.

I hope you and your family are fine. I don't expect a reply but if I do get one, I just want to let you know how much you mean to me.

You mean so much to me.
