Chapter 3

Rose POV 

I went home and started packing for my new job. While packing I started replaying good times with him from when we we're in high school I got to one memory of me and Lissa and I hanging out with Christian, or as I call him Sparky, and I saw Dimitri about to start a fight with a guy I knew, Jesse Zecklos. I remember telling about how Jesse wouldn't leave me alone and kept asking me out but I knew he just wanted me for my body, like every other guy who asked me out. I then snapped back to reality and went to the two boys to ask what was going on. Dimitri told that Jesse over there was talking about how he wanted to do so much things to me I knew what Dimitri looked when he was pissed but now he was beyond that. I barely had time to react when I noticed Dimitri was going to hit him, I grabbed his hand before it hit Jesse and dragged him out of there so he could explain. I than asked why he cared because he obviously just cared for me while we were training because the rest of the time he would just ignore me or tease. The last thing I remember that day was him storming off and just going back to normal the next day and I never got an answer. After that flashback to high school I decided to call Lissa we were still best friends and she was still dating Sparky and they were now engaged. I called and she answered on the third ring.

- Rose! she screamed into the phone.

- Hey Lissa how are you and how is Sparky?

- He's good and is trying to open another restaurent because this one is doing so well I'm good but morning sickness sucks...

- Whoa Whoa Whoa back up. Morning sickness?

- Yes oups I'm sorry I wanted to surprise you bet we learned yesterday that I'm pregnant.

- I'm so happy for you I'm sure Sparky and you are going to be great parents.

- Thanks but why did you call you seem a bit on edge.

 - I called to tell you that I just got a new assignment at work.

- Well what is it?

- Do you remember Dimitri Belikov from high school?

- I do you told me he was sweet when alone with you and a jerk when not, isn't he like a big shot singer now?

- Yes that Dimitri and yes he is a big shot singer and I'm being assigned to protect him like a bodyguard cause he received several death threats.

- So your going to be 24/7 with the guy you never knew if he was an enemy or friend correct?

- Yep, I said popping the P.

- Well that's going to be something just try not ripe his head off ok?

- I'll do my best well I have to leave my new Russian jerk charge is waiting I'll keep you posted.

- Yes please and I'll keep you posted about the pregnancy. Bye Rose love you sister.

- Bye Liss love you too sister.

We hanged  up and finished packing my stuff in the car I also decided to grab my guitar since I don't know how long I'll be on this assignement, that guitar helps keep my emotions in check and I also grabbed my song book, that one helps letting my feelings out. The only person that knows I can sing is Lissa and she hasn't heard me in years. I finished everything locked my door and looked back one last time since I don't when's the next time I'm going to be back. I got in my car and drove back to the office. Once I was there Alberta and Belikov where in the lobby talking with Mason and Eddie. I walked up to them:

- Hey guys, Alberta, Belikov.

- Hey Rosie, my brothers said.

- What did I tell you about calling me Rosie?

- Not to.

- What happens next time you call me that?

- You'll break our nose.

- Good boys, I told them while patting them on their heads.

I turned around to see amused looking Alberta and Dimitri. Then they just burst out laughing I stared at them incredulously.

- What are you two laughing about?

Alberta couldn't talk so Dimitri answered before bursting out laughing again.

- You where talking to them like they were little kids or dogs, he managed to get out.

- So?

This time it was Alberta's turn.

- I may be used to seeing you do that too them but I still can't get my head around it and I think for Mr Belikov it's a first to seeing you three act like that.

- Well maybe he should remember because in high school I used to that to them all the time and I actually broke their noses how many times guys, I asked my unrelated brothers.

- I think we're up at 4 by now right Mason?

- Right you are Eddie right you are.

- See Comrade and the first time it was about a week after we met.

He seemed to be replaying a scene in his mind but than I was started to get impatient so I asked:

- So when are we leaving.

- You guys are leaving right after you go the weapons room and grab bag full of your favourites we'll wait here you have five minutes to pack those and get back here.

And so I went to my favourite room in the office after the gym. I grabbed a duffel bag and chose, two sniper guns, 3 throwing knives which I can hide everywhere, 2 bigger knives which those i hide in my boots, 2 glock guns which I put on my belt and two others in the bag, I grabbed all the bullets for the glocks and the sniper guns. I check the time i had thirty seconds left to get back there I zipped the bag and got in with five seconds to spare.

- Your personal best to pack your weapons Rose, said Alberta.

- So are we ready to go Comrade? I questioned.

- Yes we are my cars outside we can go put your stuff in it.

And we did just that I said goodbye to everyone and told them I'll keep in touch. And that is the beginning of a new life.
