𝐖𝐀𝐋𝐊𝐈𝐍𝐆 slowly down the stairs, laughing quietly at a text she had just received from Jeremy Gilbert, Juliana felt butterflies in her stomach. Today was her first day back at school after studying in France for a year. She felt nervous. She hadn't seen her friends in a whole year and she didn't know how they would react to her being back. The only people that knew she was back were Caroline and Jeremy.
"Jules?" Reaching the bottom of the stairs, Juliana looked up from her phone to see Caroline watching her, eyebrow raised and hands on hips, "Are you really wearing that for your first day back?" The blonde girl questioned, eyeing the redhead up and down judgmentally.
Jules froze and glanced down at the grey hoodie she stole from Jeremy and her black jeans, not understanding what her sister meant, "What's wrong with it?"
"Everything!" Caroline huffed, rolling her eyes. Grabbing Juliana's hand, she dragged her back up stairs, "Come on, you can wear one of my dresses. I am not allowing you to wear that,"
Stumbling into her sisters room, Juliana huffed, "But it's comfy,"
"I don't care," Caroline smiled smugly at her sister, tapping her nose, making Juliana swat her hand away and began going through her closet.
Juliana huffs loudly, rolling her eyes at her sister and threw herself on the bed, leaning forward with her chin in her hand.
"Aha!" Caroline exclaimed after a few minutes of searching, pulling out a short blue dress and a leather jacket. She turned around and presented the outfit with a beaming grin.
Jules sent Caroline a glare, shaking her head, "I am not wearing that," She deadpanned, crossing her arms over her chest.

Huffing as she got out of Caroline's car, trying to yank the short dress further down her legs. It stopped mid-thigh and wouldn't go any further, so she gave up with a dirty look to her sister who was watching her in amusement.
Caroline rolled her eyes and walked around her car to link arms with Jules, "Come on, you should be thanking me for not letting you look homeless on you first day back," Juliana rolled her eyes and nudged the blonde, not being able to stop the small laugh that escaped her.
Walking to their lockers, which were luckily right next to each other, Caroline sighed and glanced at her sister, "Does Bonnie know you're-" Before she could finish, a loud squeal is heard from a few feet away from the sisters.
"Jules!" Juliana gasped, feeling someone knock harshly into her and wrap their arms tightly - a little bit too tight - around her.
"I missed you too, Bon," Juliana giggled, hugging Bonnie back just as tight, swaying them both from left to right.
"Aww, I want in!" Caroline whined, throwing herself into the hug. All three girls laughed, stepping away from each other.
Once Juliana had closed her locker, the three girls linked arms and started to slowly make their way to class.
"Where's Elena?" Juliana asked with a light frown on her face.
Caroline let out a groan, "Probably with her new boyfriend," The blonde stated bitterly.
Jules made a confused sound, "New boyfriend? I thought you said she was dating Matt?"
Bonnie sighed, "They were, but Elena broke up with him because she wanted some time after her parents died,"
"But wasn't that only like three months ago? How is that more time?" Jules questioned, confused.
"Exactly!" Caroline exclaimed, before sending the redhead a grin and changing the subject, "Anyway, no more depressive Elena talk, tell us about that friend you met in France and refuse to tell us his name," Bonnie laughed and nodded in agreement.
Jules sighed, "We were just friends, Care, don't get it twisted. And there isn't really that much to tell because we were only friends for like eight months before he left,"
"Well, what was his name?" Bonnie asked expectantly after Caroline let out a loud, annoyed groan.
"Um, his name was Nik, and he was British," Jules teased Caroline, wiggling her eyebrows suggestively when she said British,
Caroline grinned and faked a swoon, "Ugh, my weakness," The trio laugh and stop just outside the classroom.
Juliana groans, "It's my first day back and I have fucking Tanner,"
"Well," Bonnie sighs, giving the redhead a light tug into the classroom with her, "The sooner we go in, the sooner it'll be over." Juliana pouts at her best friend, to which the dark-skinned girl just playfully rolled her eyes.
