"It's too late", cried Sophie, as Keefe pressed her head against his shoulder.
"I tried to keep her sa-" "Nope!" Keefe cut her off, pulling Sophie off of his shoulder and putting his hands up, like stop signs.
"I have a feeling you were about to say safe" Sophie sighed, then nodded.
"I thought so." He showed his trademark smirk, then started to pace. "Anyway, my question is why would you want to keep her safe from knowing of them? They're the good guys!"
He stopped pacing and started walking towards her. "Trust me Soph if anyone knows who the good guys are around here, I do." Sophie met Keefe's piercing ice blue eyes.
"I wanted to keep her safe from another war."
