On The Run (Haikyuu Omegaverse)

Introduction

    (Yamaguchi's POV)

        The city lights shined brightly through the car window. The static radio in the cop car filled the silent car. I could occasionally hear the police officer lean into his walkie-talkie and say something to the other cops. I turn to the other omega in the car. Hinata. He was beyond scared. Who would blame him? I and the other omegas ran off for the third time. This attempt was successful to an existent. We had run away and were on the run for about five and a half months. I could see Hinata's tail puff up each time we stopped. There were more cars behind us that had the rest of the group split up into them. 

    I scooted over and pulled Hinata into a hug. He trembled in my embrace. "We're defiantly getting marked." He mumbled to me. I stroked his head and remained quiet. After realizing that was not at all calming his nerves I began to groom him. That calmed him more than anything. I would estrange glances with the cop in the car who would instantly look away. I looked back at the police car behind us. Sugawara was struggling and slamming his body against the doors which were thoroughly locked. The car behind us had to pull over to get Sugawara under control so the other cops pulled over. This cop was obviously new because he left us in the car to go help get him under control. I looked around for anything to pry the door open why. 

  Hinata caught on quickly to what I was doing. "I forgot they didn't take this off me." Hinata pulled out a small pouch. It had heat suppressants, beta strips, and Band-Aids. He pulled the stuff out and revealed a hunter's knife. I looked back at the other cops. Sugawara was only getting worse they had to move Kenma into another car. "Okay, Hinata I will keep watch. Cut the bar enough to unlock the doors then we open my door and book it through the alleyway." I said.

    Hinata was a quick worker it got the doors unlocked in under two minutes. You would think the cop was smart enough not to leave us with anything on our person or to leave us alone in a car without a partner on duty. He quickly scooted towards my door which was faced towards the alleyway. I waited for the right moment before grabbing Hinata's Hand and swinging open the door. We ran quickly down the alleyway I was barefoot so I was more careful where I stepped. The cop that was in charge of us noticed we were missing when we were halfway down the alleyway.  I and Hinata were so eager to escape we took two different paths. The police officer took off after Hinata. I was running between people and through multiple alleyways. 

   I hadn't realized the route was familiar to me because it led back to the house I live in with Tsukishima. I hadn't realized it until I was tackled to the ground and pinned there. I was pinned on my stomach and felt a hot breath against my nape. I instantly began to struggle. If I got marked I wouldn't be able to escape with the others anymore because of the mark. tried to push him off until I felt his vicious teeth sink into the nape of my neck. My breath was instantly shortened.  felt my heart stop then beat in syce with his. I felt my heart flutter and my vision becomes hazy. I heard a familiar voice behind us. "Tsukishima. We have to hurry and get to the police station. They found our runaways." Daichi said. 

   Only then did Tsukishima remove his teeth from my neck and stood up. I shakily stood up with him. The mating mark was visible. Tsukishima grabbed onto me. "You're never leaving my side again you hear me Tadashi?" I looked up at him. His eyes had bags beneath them like he hasn't had a good sleep in a while. He looked sickly like he hasn't eaten as much as he should. I subconsciously lifted my hands to his face and cupped his cheeks. He leaned into my touch for a moment before climbing in the back seat of Daichi's truck with me. I never realized how much I missed Tsukishima until I felt him wrap his arms around my waist and pull me closer. Tsukishima and Daichi estrange small talk.

  I nuzzled into Tsukishima's shoulder and felt myself start to drift off to sleep. When I awoke again Daichi had just pulled into the Police Station the other cars were already there. Daichi put his truck into parking before climbing out. Tsukishima climbed out too and offered his hand to help me out as well. I took his hand and hopped out wincing at the sore muscles in my feet. He shut the door and held onto my hand as we walked into the station. Nishinoya was in Asahi's lap apologizing with a mate mark on his neck. Asahi would shush him and kiss his head. Ennoshita was laying his head on Tanka. He too had a fresh mate mark. Hinata was in holding because he was struggling and they were trying to suppress him. Sugawara was also in holding but was unconscious. Kenma was quietly talking to Kuroo who was bandaging up his knee.
