Chapter Twelve: Party

       Soon enough Daichi had thrown a welcoming party for them finding the perfect omega for them.  Of course, they had to wait until Noya was out of the heat. The omegas stayed close to each other while the room filled up with unknown people. Kenma leaned closer to Hinata and linked arms with him. Hinata let out a small whimper and shrank behind Sugawara. Sugawara held a glass of wine in his hand. Oikawa had a glass in his hand too. Daichi looked over and sighed. "Don't have too much Koshi." Sugawara took a sip and looked over at Oikawa. Iwaizumi was currently trying to get their three pups into their onesies. When he looked up he immediately grabbed the glass. " Tooru! you know what the doctor said!" He scuffed.
   Oikawa turned away. "C'mon Iwa how can you be so mean to me? One glass won't hurt." He whined. Iwaizumi rolled his eyes at his dramatic mate and walked away with the glass and ordered the maids not to serve him any acholic beverages. Oikawa pouted until he felt Sugawara nudge him. "Shhhh." He hushed before handing the rest of his drink to Oikawa. Oikawa smirked and took a swig. The two omegas giggled to each other. 
   The party was too long for Kenma's liking. He hated the loud sounds from the music and the people who visited who had a little too much to drink. He sighed and looked back down at his game. Luckily he wasn't completely alone. Hinata was sitting next to him playing with him with Yamaguchi watching them both play. The younger omegas stuck together seeing as their alphas were nowhere to be found in the big room filled with people. 
       Yamaguchi nuzzled into Hinata before deciding a nap sounded good to him. Hinata and Kenma looked at each other and smiled. But as the night came to an end so did the party. Soon enough people were one by one leaving the house. By the time everyone was gone there was already a small pile of omegas sleeping. Kuroo looked over at the cuddle pile with a sigh. "He's not going to be happy when he has to be separated." Bokuto patted his back. "It's okay! They knew that they would be sleeping separately from now on. They aren't used to it yet. Give him some time Kuroo!" He said. Kuroo nodded and walked over to the cuddle pile. The alphas began to wake up their omegas. 
    "C'mon Suga, It's time to go," Daichi said shaking Sugawara. Hinata who was being carried by Kageyama whimpering a bit. "Sugawara, Daichi wants to take you home." He whined half asleep. Sugawara groaned before waking up. Tsukishima walked through the door and sighed. "Sorry, my mother called me. She just landed in Europe for work." He said. When Yamaguchi heard him he crawled out of the pile and made his way over to Tsukishima so they could leave. Tsukishima took Yamaguchi by the hand and led him to his older brother's car that was parked outside. 
   Eventually, all the omegas were with their alphas in the correct place without much fuss but that was probably because they all were too tired to really care. Sugawara was being spooned by Daichi not that he minded it wasn't new. Noya usually would spoon Sugawara when he got sick during the night and wanted Suga's attention. But for Sugawara it was different. Daichi wasn't sick and he knew that but it didn't matter because Daichi was doing it to protect him. Sugawara was so used to putting others' needs before his.
      So feeling this protective atmosphere around him was so comforting. He loved it. He felt himself fall more in love with the alpha. Though he knew he probably shouldn't because of the plan to get to this sacred land that protected omegas from being marked or mated. It was far from where they were but that was okay. Because Sugawara didn't mind if he had to go through separation depression so that all his pups could live freely without the fear of being used and thrown away. But deep down somewhere in him, he knew these alphas had good intentions and wouldn't use them but he denied it.
        This was a new feeling one that made Sugawara excited and nervous at the same time. Something he wanted to explore but also keep away from. He didn't quite understand what was happening to him but it worried him. The very thing he swore to himself years ago was crumbling. His mother signed him over to the omega center because neither her or his father were omegas. His mother promised to welcome him back into the family if he were to give birth to an alpha. He remembers telling her she could shove it up sideways because he swore to her in front of his grandparents his mother and his father that he would never accept an alpha so they would never see him again. That if he ever had pups they would never be even mentioned. 
    Sugawara woke up from his sleep remembering the look on his mother's face when he said that she was mortified and disgusted. He scuffed and looked down. He hasn't thought about his mother since he met the younger omegas. Why was she relevant now? Sugawara was lost in the thought of his mother when he felt small kisses being pressed to his face. Daichi had woken up because Sugawara was letting out distress hormones.
      "Did you have a nightmare?" He asked. Sugawara sighed. "No it was more of a flashback while I was asleep. I thought of my mother, that fucking bitch and it pisses me off." He said with a sigh. Daichi nodded and kissed his cheek again. "Well I'm all ears if you want to talk about it." He said. Sugawara smiled and shook his head. "Maybe I'll tell you in the morning. But right now I'm tired." He said turning to face Daichi. Daichi smiled and brought Sugawara into a cuddle and kissed his forehead. "Okay. Well Goodnight Sugawara." Sugawara kissed Daichi on the nose before retreating back into his chest. "Goodnight Daichi."
