On The Run (Haikyuu Omegaverse)

Chapter One: Beginning

(Third Person)

The omegas were in their cuddle pile asleep. It was a late Sunday afternoon and all of them were really tired. One of the nurses walked in. "At least they aren't causing trouble today." She said with a sigh. She began to clean up the room of the very little stuff that was on the floor. She then stood above the pile of omegas and rang the dinner bell. They all groaned and rolled out of the cuddle pile. "Sugamama come back I want cuddles," Hinata whined. Sugawara groaned and stood up. "It's dinner time Hinata it's time to get up," Hinata whined and rolled out of bed.

Kenma yawned and looked over to Atsumu who was peacefully asleep. Kenma smirked and slapped him before taking off down to the dining hall. Atsumu woke up and started pouting. Kita kissed his cheek better and helped him up out of bed. Once at the dinner hall they were served only the healthiest foods. Some foods helped boost their fertility rate. While they were eating The doors were pushed open. A group of guards walked in. Hinata started to whimper at the sight of a lot of guards walking in at once. Sugawara looked over and pulled him into a hug before beginning to groom him. Hinata started to calm down and lean into the grooming. Atsumu huffed and turned away. Sugawara smirked and pulled him into a hug before beginning to groom him as well.

"Hey let me go!" He whined. Sugawara didn't listen and began to groom his fox ears. He whined before relaxing into Sugawara. He smiled and continued to groom him. Hinata whined and nuzzled into Sugawara. He switched between the two giving them some grooms before letting them both go. Hinata let out a laugh because Atsumu's hair was sticking up in several places. The guards were talking to the nurses and housemaids. All the omega's started to release distress hormones causing the nurses and housemaids to tell the guards to go back to their stations.

Lady Rochelle took the stand. "Its okay little ones, there is no danger coming your way. The alpha's from each high school are planning a field trip to come here. They need to know how to select and pay for an omega. There will be a total of five days that these field trips will be happening. Please remain calm." After she got down from the stand she walked off to the side. Some of the omegas started to panic and were seeking the grooming of other omegas as comfort.

(Hinata's POV)

Its been two days since that announcement some of the schools will be arriving tomorrow morning. I couldn't begin to fall asleep. It was really early morning and I still wasn't asleep. We were in our usual cuddle pile Sugawara had his arm around Kenma and his tail wrapped around me. Nishinoya had his head on Sugawara's stomach. I was beginning to overthink. What if something bad happens to Suga or Kenma or Nishinoya or Yamaguchi or Ennoshita. I saw them cry I don't want to see them crying anymore. I unknowingly let out a small whimper. I felt Sugawara start to move causing Kenma and Nishinoya to wake up. "Hinata come here." Sugawara said. I whimpered again. Sugawara let out a sigh before moving himself to wrap his arms around me. My whimpers were getting louder. Kenma moved over and laid next to me snuggling into my chest Nishinoya crawled over Suga and laid his head on my hip. Sugawara began groom me. I laid my head down. He continued to groom me licking around my cat ears.

After some time I fell asleep it was so hard to keep my eyelids open when Sugawara grooms me. He was always the mother I never had. He would groom me and teach me things and even bake sweet for me (and others to it wasn't just exclusive to me) Sugawara no doubt would be a fantastic mother figure one day. He was so kind-hearted but stern when he needed to be. It was relaxing. I slept peacefully until one of the housemaids came in and woke us up out of our cuddle pile. "Get dressed in your uniforms today alphas need to know your number in case they wanna court you after their field trip." She said with a wink.

We rarely wore our uniforms unless we had visitors. Sugawara leads us to the bathing room to get washed up. Yamaguchi got so nervous about seeing the alphas for the first time Sugawara groomed him before and after his shower. But the bathing rooms were somewhat full. Once we finished bathing we were led back to our cuddle pile room and we got dressed in our uniforms.

Our uniforms were basically a whiter button-up with light pink, blue or yellow stripes on them. Then on your back and shoulder, there was your name and number. (The color depended on which block you were a part of) Then our pants were shorts that ended mid-thigh and stockings. Our shorts had the same color and pattern as our shirt. And for shoes we wore slippers.

But poor Yamaguchi has thighs that leaned more on the thick side and the shorts would end up being to short. Sugawara switched shorts with him luckily so that alphas won't eat him up. Then we walking to breakfast with the rest of the group. It was towards the end of breakfast When the Karasuno school arrived I heard them bust through the doors they were loud. Really loud.

(Third Person)

Hinata and Yamaguchi offered to help the housemaids clean up after breakfast and they happily accepted. Here is the thing. Before the alphas are allowed inside all the omegas must be in the observation rooms. (Which neither of them were ) After they were done helping the housemaids clean they noticed the hallways filled with alphas. Their scents were strong. "Yamaguchi takes a deep breathe in and out don't send off any distress hormones," Hinata said wrapping an arm around Yamaguchi's arm locking them together so they didn't lose each other in the crowd.

Hinata and Yamaguchi walked quickly through the crowd. Until Yamaguchi felt his tail puff up and his breathe pitch. Hinata panicked and held him close. "What are two omegas doing out of the observation rooms?" Hinata turned to see a tall blonde alpha wearing glasses. Soon some alpha's turned around. "You don't need to know jackass!" Hinata shot back. "Tsukishima doesn't pick fights with the omegas." Another alpha said. He wore a man bun and looked kind-hearted. Tsukishima scuffed and felt his heart skip a beat when Yamaguchi turned to face him. He felt his face heat up.

Hinata growled at Tsukishima and held Yamaguchi closer. "We will be leaving," Hinata said with his cheeks puffed up in anger. Yamaguchi clang to Hinata as they walked down the hallway. It didn't take long for a nurse to notice them and escort them back to the proper observation chamber.

Sugawara was grooming Kenma when Yamaguchi and Hinata came in. Sugawara's eyes shot open before pulling the two into a cuddle pile but kept Yamaguchi closer to him because he was in heat. Sugawara was grooming Yamaguchi while he was asleep. Yamaguchi's heat only got worse since it was his first one. One of the nurses came in and gave him an injection that helped him get rid of some of the symptoms of the heat. The alphas watched and wrote one or two names down on the slip of paper they were given.

"Daichi you want the Sugawara omega?" Asahi asked. Daichi nodded. "How could I not? look how nurturing he is towards other omegas he would be fantastic with pups." Daichi could just imagine seeing a nest made for pups out of his bedding and clothes. Seeing this omega nurture and groom the pups made his heart pound in his chest. Asahi smiled and watched Nishinoya get groomed by Ennoshita and try to pull away only to get pulled back and groomed more. Asahi thought that his pouting face was the cutest. "Yeah, I guess." Asahi could imagine him walking into the backyard of his house and seeing Nishinoya playing with the kids and seeing that same pouting face on them. It made his heart pound too.
