Thomas' POV

I stare at Joshua while I pig out on Frypan's special bacon lunch. No I am not thinking about snogging hi or if he is hot.

I am not gay.

I am not.

I promise.

He just seems fishy. I don't know why but ever since he got here he is looking at everyone as if he is guilty. Gally seems to have gotten him to be a builder and now the newbie sits with him, staring off into space.

I turn to Newt who is next to me staring also at Joshua.

"You gonna finish that?" I point to his half full plate of bacon and he slowly shakes his head.

"Nah" I smile thankfully before grabbing his plate and making my way into the Deadheads.

It's quiet here. No Chuck to talk your ears off. No Newt to give you lectures. No Minho to sass your ass off. No Gally to glare at you until his eyes bleed. Just the peace and quiet of the forest. Simply-

Crack.

I spin around with a mouthful of bacon to see the one and only Adelaide creeping towards me.

When she realises I have seen her she stands back up straight and stomps her left foot childishly.

"Dammit!" She huffs and plonks down next to me, taking a piece of bacon and shoving it in her mouth. "You weren't supposed to turn around" she says. Well, tries to say. It comes out as-

"Oo ern't spose o rn wound"

I laugh at he failed attempt of speaking.

"Sorry wanna try again?"

She nods eagerly before getting up and walking a few meters away then motioning for me to turn around.

I do.

I hear her quiet footsteps that seems to echo around the Deadheads. Her soft breaths barely audible.

After a few seconds I feel two arms wrap around my shoulders and pull me towards the ground.

"Rawr" she giggles making me laugh.

She is truly an idiot.

"I heard that meanie" she huffs playfully.

Oops?

I laugh again causing her to giggle and scramble off my back before plonking down next to me again and stuffing bacon down her throat.

She lets out a moan.

Adelaide's POV

"My god" I moan as the bacon travels down my throat. "That is some good freaking bacon".

Thomas laughs at me for what seems to be the hundredth time. Not once is it getting old.

I love his shucking laugh.

"Do you know how we can hear each other telepathically?" Thomas asks me. I look up at him with a mouthful of food.

"No I don't" I can tell he is trying not to laugh and stay serious so I puff out my cheeks more and cross my eyes.

He goes into hysterics. I join in him laughing after I swallow.

When we sober up he looks at me again.

"Why don't you stay at the Glade with me- us" he clears his throat in an attempt on hiding his mistake but I already heard it so I giggle at him. Making him playfully glare. "Just answer the shucking question" he mumbles.

"Ok, ok sorry. I don't like rules and jobs. I like to do what I want when I want. And besides, if I was here I probably would break all the rules first day and get banished. Not that I would care. Also I hate responsibility. I mean come on. How many s' and i's can you put in one word. Five!" I throw my hands up in the air and watch as Thomas fight to breathe again from laughing.

"What is going on here?" Says an unfamiliar voice.

I turn around and see Alby with his arms folded leaning up against a tree.

"Hiya Alby!" I say excitedly.

I have always wanted to meet him in person. Don't ask why.

"Er- hi, who are ya?"

"The names Adelaide" I cheer while jumping to my feet.

"Wait... Thomas you were telling the truth?"

I turn to see Thomas nod and roll his eyes.

"Yep..."

"Don't be so glum chum!" I pull him to his feet and whisper in his ear. "I have to go..."

I will see you soon. Go.

I nod and turn to Ably, mock saluting him and sprinting off into the Maze with Alby and Thomas hot on my heels.

They don't enter the Maze because it is getting dark and I make my way back to my ivy bed.

Good night Tommy.

Night Addy.

(A/N: Short I know. Sorry guys! Keep up the reading though and I will put my updates up as soon as possible. Thanks!)
