The ground smells like death, murky water, and spoiled food as I smell it. What else can I do when my hands are tied behind my back, and there are three guys keeping me captive?
I struggle to move at all, my tied hands making it rather difficult but I manage to roll my eyes around for possible escape routes.
There is a small path to the left of the blonde of the group, it seems to go farther into the forest, but I'd rather fight the bears than these guys. The man who took me looks around and his eyes land on me, and his smirk is dirty and wide.
I could puke. The man, the boss as Sanden described, doesn't look too amused. He's eating his meal and occasionally sharpening his blade. I wiggle on the floor, "I wouldn't do that."
It was the boss, "Won't get you anywhere."
So I stop but I try to stare into his soul form his eyes, "I'm rather surprised you can look me in the eyes. Most can't."
I try to speak but, because of the cloth, I can't speak. "Sanden, take it off. I wanna hear her voice."
The man gets up, a fake swagger in his walk and pulls a knife to me. I flinch and he chuckles but only rips the cloth off.
"Now, what were you saying, dear."
I scowl, "I'm not your dear for one."
The large man chuckles, "You say that as if I can't kill you right now."
I feel uneasy, "How would you sell me dead?"
I have no idea where this hidden confidence and cool came from, but I'm thankful for it. he nods, "Very true, little lady. Doesn't mean I can't torture and keep you on the brink of death."
I hide my shiver at the thought, "Sanden?"
Sanden, once again, brings his life out. "How about the face? Only slight."
The man pushes me on my back and straddles my waist. My hands hurt from being squashed under my body weight but the knife comes to my face and he cuts along my cheek. The pain is strong, but It could have been worse.
My eyes water slightly, and I groan out loud. Sanden smiles above me. I can hardly see his face though through the tears.
"Believe us now?"
The man gets off of me and I looks over, a look of disgust on my face, "You're too pretty to make that face."
I laugh hysterically, "Sure."
"It's true. Now think about it, lady. What are we going to sell you into?"
I try to make a noise of protest then is suddenly sinks in. The feeling of fear, dread, and the sudden urge to puke fills all of my senses. I turn my body over as fast as possible and do just as I predicted.
The other one who I haven't heard speak coughs, "That's disgusting."
Sanden laughs, "Now think what they'll do her body."
