Walking away

I walk away from the castle, satchel over my back. Squishy's inside. Tied up by my cruel father. My first destination is the woods. I don't look behind me, as I stray past the village silently. Trying not to draw attention to myself. That's the last thing I need right now. Squishy starts shuffling in my bag and starts whimpering. "Shhh... Shhh. It's ok I'm here. Just wait until we get to the woods, ok?" He suddenly stop whimpering. We're nearly in the woods, when a dog starts barking at me. I turn around to see Rose. I tell her to be quiet, but she keeps barking. I quickly dash into the woods before anyone can see me. Rose swiftly follows. I run quite deep into the woods and then remember to untie Squishy.it was getting late, so I set up camp. In a tree. Yup.

I attempt to start a fire, but not sure how to. Why didn't anyone ever teach me how to survive in the wild? It makes no sense. Well, they probably thought I wouldn't need to being a princess and all. I finally get the fire started. I climb up the the nearest tree. It's harder then it looks. I scraped my nee, but it didn't hurt that much. I swung my satchel onto the branch and got my stuff out. I put squishy in a hollow part of the tree, to keep him from falling. I get out my blanket and pillow and settle down. Rose is at the bottom of the tree by the fire. I toss down some meat for Rose, gun powder for Squishy and crisps for me. I then fall fast asleep.

I wake up early, to hear skeletons burning in the sunlight. Few. At least I'm not down there. Rose is okay with them cause they're not attacking. After they're dead. I slide down the tree. The fire's gone out. I pack up my stuff and wake up Squishy and Rose. We need to keep moving.
