I arrive at Jade's house. Hmmm, a bit small, but I did live in a palace. The house is made of brick with a rustic look to it, and an old wooden door. I politely knock on the door. Maybe her parents aren't home. Oh well. Jade had told me where she had hidden the spare key. Under the doormat. So original! The door squeaks as I walk it. "Hello? Anyone home?" I ask. "It's me Mary-Anne, Jade's friend."
"Oh, Mary-Anne, hello! Jade's told me so much about you! Don't worry I know about Squishy." She says. Wait omg I almost forgot about him! Wow that's weird. I take off my rucksack, unzip it and take out a sleeping squishy. Awww, he's so cute when he sleeps!
"Hi, Mrs Craft! So where's Jade's room?"
"It's just up the stairs, to the left." I was up the creaky stairs and go into Jade's room. I open the door and swing my bag onto the bed and carefully carry Squishy onto a cushion.
