Our next destination is the mountain. Apparently there's an old wooden house up there. The story says that an old witch used to live there. But one day she was killed by a miner. He climbed up the mountain and found her cooking a brew. She said she was a witch, so he burnt her. Now people say that she came back to life and tortured him, until he died. Creepy story, huh. Well I'm not into that kinda stuff. But if it is real the Rose'll look after Squishy and me. I climb up the mountain hastily. A few rocks falling down every once and while. Once we get to a cave I look over the woods to see the castle. The flags waves in the wind. I can hear something on the distance. It sounds like the beat of a drum. It has a continuous beat. "It sounds like marching..." I whisper to myself. I then see army of creepers, heading through the woods. I quickly dash into the cave. The cave somehow seems more dangerous then the outside. There are stalactites all over the ceiling, dripping constantly. I can hear tiny shrieks in the back of the cave. I get out my torch and look down the damp cave. I see a hoard of bats. I must have woken them up, because they all come hurdling towards me. I start screaming my head off. Rose starts frantically barking and terrifying Squishy.
The bats are gone by now. Squishy is shivering. Rose is a bit too excited now, barking and jumping around. I'm trying to calm her down. I make her sit and then give her a treat. I wrap Squishy up in a blanket and I try to make a fire in a damp cave. I get some rocks from outside and put it by the fire. I then put the wood on top, and light the fire.
