your p.o.v. 

i was hanging with my best friend, peggy schuyler. and we were both incredibly bored, with nothing to do but read. i love reading, but i had easily read every book in her room. i had to go to the library to get a new book. 

"y/n, i'm soooo bored."

"peggy, what am i supposed to do?" i snap back. she interrupted my book! i was in a good part!

"$20 to kiss the next guy that walks through that door."

i smirk. she and i both know i never back down from a challenge. 

"make it $50."

we wait about an hour, before we hear heavy footsteps. our heads immediately turn to each other. we hear keys being fumbled with, and i realize. peggy has a male roommate, named john laurens. i've never met him. and he was about to walk through that door. shit. 

"peggy, i'm home!" 

i spring up towards the door, peggy watching from behind the couch. 

when i got to the door, i froze, nearly forgetting what i had to do. he was, for the lack of a better word, fucking gorgeous.

"hi, nice to meet you. i'm y/n, peggy's best friend." and i kissed him, straight on the lips. i felt fireworks. he was stiff for a bit, then after about 5 seconds he relaxed, and kissed back. 

"OW! GET SOME JOHNNY! WORK IT Y/N/N! WOO!" we broke apart. i had forgotten peggy was there, and by the looks of it, john did too. 

"i'm john, i'm peggy's-"

"roommate, yeah. she's told me, i've just never met you."

"nice to meet you, for some reason i'm attracted to you." how smooth.

"CHA CHA, REAL SMOOTH JOHN!" 

"PEGGY PLEASE, FOR THE LOVE OF GOD, BE QUIET!" 

"okay, i just ship it! *imagine her face like this: >:)*"

john shakes his head with a smile on his face, his curly hair bouncing around. he looks at me with a smile and kisses me. i, of course, kiss back, how could i not? 

"can i take you out to ice-cream?" i ask once we pull apart.

"i would like that very much gorgeous." 

this is the end of this one! i may or may not make it into an actual story bc i love this plot lmao. this is actually the first oneshot i have written, and i'm very proud! here is the link to the chapter with the prompts, and i hope i get a request or two. sorry that this one is short!
