It had been a couple months and Dylan had made progress on his and Maddie's farmhouse. Dina and Dylan had been up with the sun. Dylan had been making further progress with the house, whilst Dina was doing the household chores. Maddie and Scott had journeyed back to Jackson for a few days, gathering canned goods for meals and some supplies for the farmhouse. Before she had left for Jackson, Dylan had insisted on going with her, to keep her safe whilst she was venturing back and forth from Jackson. The couple ended up having an argument as Maddie knew she could hold her own, but Dylan was worried due to what happened in Seattle when he left Talia alone.

Ellie sat in her and Dina's bedroom, analysing Joel's watch as she heard JJ begin to stir as he began to slowly wake after his afternoon nap.
"Hey, bud. I got you, I got you." Ellie said to the baby boy as she held him in her arms, "Let's go see what Mommy and Daddy are doing, huh?"

JJ giggled as he smiled up at his Momma.
Ellie walked downstairs with JJ and saw Dina in the kitchen, washing up dishes. Ellie smiled and put a vinyl on the record player, and watched as a smile grew on Dina's face.
"Oh, fuck yeah. I love this song." Dina smiled as she began to rock side to side as she did the dishes.
Ellie moved into the kitchen and wrapped her free arm around Dina's waist and began to sway with her.
