An American actress whom first appeared in MTV's reality shows, Floribama Shore, as well as Siesta Key. She then starred in the film, 'Who Do You Love', which is based off of the famous fanfiction; along with ex-boyfriend, Calum Hood. In 2020, she and her two best friends, Luna Hernandez and Skylar Simpson formed the charity 'Anonymous Hope'; a charity that gives to those families affected by cancer. She is also known for playing Gretchen in American Satan (2017) and Paradise City (2021), alongside Andy Biersack. A huge step for her career was portraying Nancy Wheeler in The Stranger Things (2016 to present).

She was born and raised in Dallas, Texas. Her mother, Chelsea, passed away in 2013. Her father's name is Cameron. She is the oldest of two children; she has a younger brother named Paul. Brooklynn dated Collin Walsh from the band Grayscale, from April 2015 to November 2016. She then began dating Calum Hood in spring of 2017, but the couple split in fall of 2021.
