{𝚈𝚘𝚞𝚛 𝙿𝙾𝚅}
As I fell asleep all I could think about was what I've done. The guilt creeped up in my mind making me sick.

{𝟷 𝚆𝚎𝚎𝚔 𝚋𝚎𝚏𝚘𝚛𝚎 𝙲𝚑𝚊𝚙𝚝𝚎𝚛.𝟷}

"Good morning Lady Y/n," Chirped ????
"Good morning Niki! And what did I say about calling me that," I replied in a tired tone.

Niki was my personal maid, and my only true friend. She was the only one who could make me laugh, cheer me up and the only one who I can talk to that doesn't only talk because I'm a 'High Lady'.

"Well as the daughter of Duke Y/L/N & Duchess Y/L/N I must call you what your assigned!" She said in a mocking manner.

I love when she impersonates her boss, Miss Lee. Miss Lee was the most wicked person ever, and not in a good way. She acted all snobby and thought she was the highest maid. She was in charge of giving the maids tasks though. If she ever say a maid slacking they would never hear the end of it from her, one time Niki & I had nothing to do and were chatting so the bitch she is, swapped Niki's job with another maid for the rest of the day! Imagine that, not being able to see the one person you could stick in this horrible place. As much as I loved my parents they never paid attention to me unless it was to have meetings and arrangements.

I slowly rise from the bed, tired after all I could hear last night was the loud music of the ball. I didn't know why there was a ball last night but I didn't question it or even attend. 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗯𝗮𝗯𝗹𝘆 𝘀𝗼𝗺𝗲 𝗯𝘂𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗲𝘀𝘀 𝗮𝗴𝗿𝗲𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝘄𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝘄𝗲𝗹𝗹. Mother and Father often had business meetings. I was never involved but I'm glad i'm not.

But today may be different . .

"Your mother & father request your presence downstairs Y/n," Niki said breaking the silence as she tightened my corset. Today I had to wear something elegant so I decide to dress in my F/C dress and put a nice F/F {Favourite Flower}designed ribbon in my hair. Im not sure why I had to dress lavishly though, maybe we have an important guest.

{𝚃𝚒𝚖𝚎 𝚂𝚔𝚒𝚙 𝚝𝚘 𝚊𝚏𝚝𝚎𝚛 𝚢𝚘𝚞 𝚐𝚘𝚝 𝚛𝚎𝚊𝚍𝚢}

I head downstairs with Niki and as takes me to the dining room, well it 𝚠𝚊𝚜 the dining room but over the years it became a room for business. I always ate outside because it was more peaceful and I loved the garden.

"Here you are!" She exclaimed as we reached the door. "Are you not coming in with me?" I question. "I would love to be there to help but I have some tasks to do for the head chef," She comforted, she knew how much I loved having her there. "Okk," I replied in a disappointed tone, dragging out the k.

As she walks off I head into the room. I see my parents on their seats, two other adults at the opposite side of the table and a boy around my age sitting beside one of the adults. "Hello my dear!" My father greets. "Come sit, we have something to explain to you." He pats the bottom of my seat gesturing for me to sit down. As I sit my mother speaks up. "Y/n, we would like you to meet Sir Buckington, Lady Buckington and their son, Luke Buckington."They looked of high rank so I had to make a good first impression, although Luke looked quite . . 𝚜𝚊𝚍? "Hello it is nice to meet yous all," I greet with a smile. "Nice to meet you," Sir Buckington says in a serious tone. Lady Buckington just nods and so does Luke. "Now let's get sorting shall we?" Sir Buckington suggests. "Let's, I will explain to Y/n what is happening," My mother says. "Hm?" I question as a quizzical look appears on my face. "So, Y/n darling, your father and I have made an agreement with Sir and Lady Buckington that as a business contract to strengthen both royal houses, you and Luke . . .
