the accident

It was the night of the recital

Sunny almost immediately realizing what he has done he then rushed down the stairs desperately picking up the pieces of the now broken violin hopefully before anyone could notice

And unfortunately for him...

Pov switch

I was in the piano room trying to process what happened and why sunny stormed out but a couple minutes later I heard something near the staircase. I then went to check to see what happened only to see sunny at the bottom of the stairs scrambling to pick up something

Mari: hey sunny, what are you doing?

Sunny: umm n-nothing, nothing at all haha.

Sunny was acting strange for some reason and I needed to find out why

Mari: hey sunny, can you come over here for a moment?

Sunny: uh yeah s-sure.

He walked up the stairs with of both nervousness and fear mixed into one all the while he was hiding something behind his back when he reach the top of the stairs I knew I was going to have to ask him a difficult question

Mari: sunny, what's behind your back?

At that moment sunny had a look of both fear and defeat has he reached his hand out with something clearly in his fist so I put up hand and he dropped the object onto my hand it was at that moment I realize what happened

Mari: y-you!

Sunny: m-Mari i-im sorry, I didn't mean to, it was an accident I swear!

Mari: YOU BROKE THE VIOLIN! DO YOU HAVE ANY IDEA HOW HARD WE WORKED TO GET YOU THIS FOR YOU?! HOW IMPORTANT TONIGHT WAS SUPPOSE TO BE FOR US?!

Sunny: m-Mari p-please, c-calm down, I said I was sorry!

In that moment I did the worst thing I could have done...I continued

Mari: SORRY DOESN'T CUT IT DO YOU KNOW HOW MUCH PRACTICE WE HAD TO DO JUST FOR YOU TO SOUND PLAYABLE?!
[Wait,what did I just say]

Sunny tried to run away but I grabbed his arm and he still tried to get to his room. I eventually Yanked him back towards me causing him to slip and fall down the stairs landing on one the violin pieces he didn't pick up

When saw what had just unfolded before my eyes any trace of anger on my face was replaced with a look of shock and horror

I slow got down stairs I got down on my knees put sunny in my arms

Mari: s-Sunny, c-come on sunny w-wake up. I i-I didn't mean any of that I was just a little angry t-thats all, come on it time to get up. s-Sunny sunny..........sunny..........oh god.......what I done.

I then called an ambulance and for them to show up and then cryed profusely with my little brother in my arms wondering why did I do what I just did
