"What do you mean?" Bradey asked, "How long have I been out for?" "Only a few hours don't worry, while you were out, your hydra apparently got a head cut off and opened an alien storage room and I have plasma on my scythes." Nathan began, "We also talked to your attacker and learned absolutely nothing from it, which is where you come in! Did you ever catch a glimpse of him?" Bradey sat staring at him with a blank look on his face. "Okay, maybe we'll wait a bit longer than two seconds then." Nathan said walking away.
Nathan started to walk away and a familiar voice came from a small corridor just to his left, "What if he doesn't remember me? What if he never will again?" "Who are you?" Nathan yelled as loud as he could. After a few seconds of staring down the dark corridor, Max walked over and put his hand on Nathan's shoulder, "Are you alright dude?" He asked trying to turn Nathan toward him. "I'm fine." He said yanking his shoulder away still looking into the darkness.
They started to walk back into the room and when they got back Steven was pacing profusely around the room. "What's your problem?" Nathan asked walking slowly. Steven quickly flicked his head over and ran over to them, "Where have you guys been? What if Bradey got hungry? What if that thing came back?" He began without breathing. "Dude! Calm yourself! We were just abducted by aliens! Nothing to worry about!" Nathan said sarcastically and started laughing, "I'm just kidding, we were just scouting ahead."
"Well did you at least find something useful? Maybe some medicine? My head is killing me." Bradey said blinking hard and holding the sides of his head. Nathan looked down a little trying to think of something he had learned in higschool, "No, but i may be able to get rid of it using my scythes! You weren't awake but my scythes were charged with plasma, i could use the electricity to stimulate your brain and relax it, or at least i think thats how it works. It may just blow your head off of your shoulders."
Bradey gave Nathan a look basicly saying he was crazy, "Well how much of a chance is there it'll actually work?" He asked. "Lets just say there's more of a chance you're no longer going to have a head, but on the plus side, you won't have a headache anymore." Nathan said trying to give Bradey a reassuring smile. "I don't care just do it!" Bradey yelled holding his head and falling to the ground in pain.
"Okay but if your head explodes just remember, it was your choice and you can't haunt me!" Nathan said trying not to laugh, he began to spin Hate in his hand and it began charging up. "Are you sure about this Nathan?" Max yelled over the loud roar of the scythe, "I don't think this is a good idea!" Nathan decided to ignore him when he heard a familiar voice whisper in his ear, "Look up Nathaniel, thats all it takes to find me."
He looked up and saw a small flash of light, he stumbled back and shot the charge of plasma up into the roof but instead of hitting the roof, it kept going up until they could no longer see it. They kept looking up when suddenly there was an explosion of blue light and a boom roared throughout the small room, forcing them all to the ground in pain. "What the hell was that all about dude?" Max yelled after the noise subsided. "Nathan looked up again squinting and trying to get back up, after a while he looked to Max and with a calm smile on his face said, "We aren't even in our own universe anymore."
All of them sat in silence for a while and just stared at each other, "What the hell do we do then? How do we get back to our own universe?" Max asked quietly. Nathan looked up and around, "We may not be able to, but we need to close the entrance somehow so nobody else gets stuck. We are here to protect our planet and that's what we're going to do." He stood up and grabbed his stuff, "We should get moving, whatever this place is it's not safe to stay still as long as we have been."
They all started to get up and gather their things, "So where to now?" Bradey asked as he swung Sledge around and put it away, "How do we know where we're supposed to go?" Nathan continued to put his stuff in his bag, "How the hell should i know? All I can think to do is continue in a random direction or maybe one of these guys are nice and can tell us where to go." He replied and they all started laughing. "Meybe it's like a video game! If we find some enemies we'll know we're heading the right way!" Steven said and they laughed harder.
They started walking down a corridor and it slowly got darker, "Guys, I-I don't like how this looks." Steven stuttered and stood shaking, "What if there is something down there waiting to kill us?" "Wow Steven. Here, I'll put Death together so I can light it up." Nathan said as he pulled out his scythes. He put the ends together and twisted them in opposite directions and there was a loud click.
Suddenly there was a fleet of bats flying past and they all dropped down to the ground to get away from them. When they had all passed they slowly stood back up and looked around, "Is that what was planning to kill us Steven?" Max said sarcastically and started laughing. Steven looked behind Max with a horrified look on his face and said in a shaky voice, "No, but that looks like it is."
Max quickly turned around to find a chimera staring him in the eyes, "Oh, well that makes a bit more sense now." He said standing as still as he could. "Steven, slowly back up so I can get away from this thing." "Way ahead of you man!" Steven yelled back. Max sighed and turned around and started sprinting away while the chimera fallowed. "After we kill this thing, I'm killing Steven!" He yelled angrily.
As he was running back down the corridor, Max remembered Nathan was in front of him. He immediately turned around and slammed his fist into one of the chimeras heads, "Nathan! Where are you?" He yelled waiting for a reply. The chimera shook the head Max had hit and it began to charge at him again, he pulled his shield off his back and quickly spiked it into the ground. The chimera hit the shield but it didn't budge, "What did you do to Nathan?" He yelled at the chimera, but all it did was back up farther and farther each try.
Suddenly there was a loud roar and a hiss and the chimera turned around, "I'm here Max! Don't worry about me just run!" Nathan yelled. There was a flash of blue light and the entire corridor lit up revealing a strange looking rock Max had never seen before, he quickly stabbed the wall with his shield, causing a piece to fall off.
He quickly picked it up and looked back watching the chimera slide back and charge forwards. Hesitantly, he turned away and kept running, when he got back to the room he saw Bradey and Steven sitting there panting and wide eyed, "We left him!" Max screamed as he punched the wall, just as he did there was a huge explosion and everything started shaking.
