"Why can't you be as good as your brother" my mother yells at me

I sigh

Ever since I was born my mother and father had high expectations for me like how they did for my brother

They expected me to follow in his foot steps

Study hard, straight A student, be #1 in everything and be a good daughter

There was no such thing as second place in this family it was always first place

My father was a well known musician wining first in every competition

My mother was a ballerina also like my father first place in every competition

They were never pressured by there parents there parents didn't mind if they won second or didn't placed at all but they liked being first in everything

After they had my brother they pressured him to be good and first in everything which wasn't that much of a pressure as my brother was born smart and had a good singing voice

So after he finished school he became the ceo of his own company who you may ask well

Kim Wonshik but goes by Ravi he debuted as a soloist and soon made his own one man label

My parents were very happy of him and now they expected me to follow his footsteps but of course not the idol life

My dream was to be a model since a young age I liked to model a lot

"Yah are you listening to me Yerim" my mother says

I nod as she hits my back signaling me to sit up straight I did as she continue to yell at me until she finished her speech and told me to leave

I got up and bowed quickly running up to my room as I run in locking the door

I sigh as I sit at my desk doing a bit of writing till I get a call from someone

I look at my computer accepting the call

A smiling 17 year old boy looks at me

"Hey yeri" he says

I smile

"Hey hyukkie"
