The sound of pills hitting the water in the toilet was one of the most satisfying sounds for me, I hate my meds but I go back to the pharmacy every 2 months so they don't suspect I'm not taking them I obviously flush them after but they don't know that.
"What you doing y/n" Jayden said walking into the bathroom "oh nothing buddy, you almost ready? we gotta go soon" I start walking to the kitchen "yeah just give me like 2 minutes" Jayden closed the bathroom door.
I made Jaydens lunch, grabbed a beer and walked into the living room to find dad sleeping on the couch I placed the beer on the table beside him and grabbed some Advil from my bag and placed two beside the beer and gave him a kiss on the forehead "bye dad" I whispered.
"Hey y/n you ready to go" Eli says walking into the house not bothering to knock anymore "yeah I'll go get Jayden" I say looking up at Eli "hey Jay let's go" I say knocking on his door and walking back to the kitchen "you want a beer for the walk" I say walking to the fridge "uh no- no thanks" "oh chill it I was joking" I say handing him a Fanta "thanks y/n".
"Hey y/n you're not supposed to be smoking while you're on your meds it says on the bottle" Jayden says grabbing my lighter "I'm not on my meds tho" I say grabbing it back and lighting the smoke between my lips. As we walked Eli went on talking about some action movie I had never seen before but I didn't mind listening cause he seemed to light up when talking about stuff like this, like a kid at a candy store so I just smiled and nodded laughing at his joke wether they were funny or not.
"Okay bud have a good day I'll see later" I say and give Jayden a kiss on the head before waving goodbye "y'know y/n you never told me you were on medication" Eli looked up from the ground "I'm not" "well Jayden says you are" "okay sure if you look at my medical history it'll say that I'm on pills but those stupid doctors don't know what's good for me and what's not I do" Eli didn't say anything after that, just looked down at the ground and walked.
