Trouble

Chap 3 (the tour)

"Okay on with the tour" I clapped my hands walking past them and they turned following me.

Demetri and Eli grew up in different neighbourhoods with a little more money and Demetri made an effort to stay away from reseda and Eli had on seen the path that he took to pick me up and walk to school so they hadn't really explored reseda like I had.

We passed a few beat up houses, parks, fast food places and small hospitals before seeing the strip mall "what's that?" Miguel asked pointing at it "well Miguel that's a store" I say sarcastically "well obviously can we go inside?" "Do you got cash?" I ask "I do" Eli say pulling out a ten "yeah I got a twenty" Miguel pulls out a $20 bill "okay let's go then" I say walking to the store.

We walk in heading to the candy isle each grabbing something "Ooo you guys want pizza?" Miguel asked "oh trust me you don't" I laugh a little "why not" Miguel raises an eyebrow "just trust me you don't want any" "okay" Miguel started his way to the counter.

We payed and left eating our candy and walking around looking at the last of the boring town "no offence y/n but this place is kinda a shit hole" Demetri laughed "oh I know tree man" I say sitting against a rock "oh I gotta get going Demetri says looking at his watch "yeah me too I'll see you guy later" Eli waves and starts walking away "well I guess it's just me and you cowboy here come on I'll walk you home" I stand up "don't you have to go home too" Miguel says standing up too "not till later plus I think we live pretty close anyways" I wasn't lying I could come home whenever I wanted nobody really cared "okay then let's go" Miguel started walking.

"So how did you and your friends meet?" "just how you met us I was coming from the elementary school and had no friends and nether did they do we kinda just decided to be lonely together" I could talk about the story for hours but I don't think he wants to hear about it, we kept making small talk and joking until we reached my apartment complex "wait you live here?" I ask stopping outside "yeah? why" he looks at me confused "no it just that I do too" I smirk a little "oh that's cool" he said walking to his apartment "okay we'll see ya I guess" he smiles before walking inside "yeah see ya.
