imagine admitting your feelings for jade

you and jade just finished a performance together, and it went terrible. the lights weren't in the right place, the sound kept going out, and some mom brought her baby and it would not stop crying. this was a really big deal for the two of you and to have it ruined was devastating. but now everyone was gone, leaving the two of you to clean up.
"god, i'm really sorry jade, i thought that was going to go so much better," you apologize.
"it's not your fault, i just would of liked that to go as plan," she sighs while throwing a prop into a cardboard box.
"you know, i really liked working with you. it was a lot of fun," you say while rolling up a string of lights.
she blushes, very thankful that you can't see her face. "yeah, i did too."
you walk towards her and take her hand so she's facing you, "listen, i don't know how you feel, but i feel like there's something between us. i enjoyed being with you every day and i don't wanna end that here. so i was wondering, do you maybe wanna go out sometime? see how it goes from there?"
she blushes even harder but tries to keep up her usual facade; even if you could see right through it. "i'd like that."
