imagine telling sydney how you feel about her

you giggle as your head hits the pillow below you; your best friend doing the same. you both let out a loud but gleeful sigh.
"i've missed this," sydney whispers happily.
"yeah, so have i," you say.
you did miss it. it had been so long since you two hung out. she was always busy, but what do you expect when you're best friends with a famous actress? the two of you decided to have a girl's night. just to catch up and do all the little activities you used to do before she became a star.
but throughout the night you began to realize all the little things about her and how they made you feel. like how your heart sped up when she smiled at you or how your stomach felt when she laughed. you always thought she was beautiful, but recently it felt different. it wasn't your usual 'i have a pretty best friend' it was more likeshe's the most gorgeous girl i have ever laid my eyes on.'
you turn your head to look at her, "hey syd?"
"yeah?" she responds while looking at you.
you look deep into her eyes, "this may just be the dumbest thing i'll ever do, but it's worth a shot."
she giggles a little, "okay, what is it?"
"i think i really like you," you admit quietly.
she sits up and looks down at you, "are you serious?"
you tear up a bit, thinking she's upset with you. "fuck, i'm so sorry i shouldn't have done that. i've just felt very different around you lately and-"
she cuts you off by placing her lips on yours. "i like you too," she smiles as you pull away.
