(Flashback at Tesco)
Anthony's POV:
As we were walking out of Tesco, someone bumped into Lily. Oh god, it was the same guy as before. Everyone they met, he got got all flustered and blushed, I could tell he liked her. And now don't get me wrong, I didn't hate him or anything, but I didn't plan on giving Lily up to some random dude we just met. I have had a crush on her for eight years years, and I was planning on asking her out on this trip. But now, it felt like he was taking her away. Even so, I was going to try my best. I was going to let her know how I felt all these years. As I was in the midst of my thinking, the guy had asked her to meet him. Obviously, I didn't really like this, but I told her " it's okay, go. Just make sure to be safe and text us if anything happens". She smiled and signed us " be right back"
As they were gone I decided that since I was going to pursue her, I should tell Jasmin about this. I mean, it would be weird if I suddenly just started to flirt with Lily out of nowhere, and plus, I needed love advice. " Hey, Jasmine..", I said sitting down a nearby bench. "Yeah, what's up", she replied, turning to look at me. " Well, actually, I have had a crush on Lily for quite some while. I know it might be awkward since we've all been friends for a long time, but I feel like I'm ready to tell here how I feel" . " I was wondering when you were going to spill the beans", she said in an excited tone. "Wait, how did you know?" , I asked, obviously shocked. " It's pretty obvious. You look like a zombie drooling every time you see her.", she said laughing. " " I-" . "Anyways, I think you should ask her out but try taking her out, hanging out and stuff so I won't be so sudden" . " okay, noted", I said, listening attentively. We talked for 20 minutes until we realized it was getting late. "Hey, text Lily, make sure she's okay." " Alright, lover boy", Jasmin said, teasing me. "Stop!", I felt my cheeks turning pink.
She texted back " I'm okay, we're heading back. Something happened so it took longer than it was supposed to". Ten minutes minutes later, I saw Lily. She was wearing a grey sweater, which obviously wasn't mine. I bothered a bit , but what can I do. I smiled and greeted her back. She gave him his jacket and waved him goodbye. " Hey, how'd it go", I asked. "Well, he confessed and then this dude came and stole my purse so we chased after him". " All that happened while we were gone", I said in a shocked voice. "Yea".
"Do you guys want to hang with Louis on Friday?", She asked. Me and Jasmin both looked at each other. Jasmin gave me a what-do-you-think look and I replied with a small frown. " I- I guess", I replied. "Ok, it's settled."
