when we get back to the house, i unlock the door and go up to my room. i haven't finished decorating it yet but it looks nice so far. i like to paint, so i want to get a cart to put all of my paints in. i also want to get some shelves, so im gonna go to target tomorrow. i decide to go skateboarding and explore the neighborhood. i get changed, grab my phone, airpods, and board, and head to bryce's room.
"it looks nice in here bry"
"thanks"
"im gonna go skate, wanna come?"
"no thanks, be safe love you"
"love you too"
i walk downstairs and outside. i put my board down and grab my phone and start my playlist. i start to ride down the street when i see the boy from next door and some other guy dancing in the road. i smile and wave and they return it. i ride down to 7-11 and get a slurpee and some candy. i ride back home and the dancing kids are still out there. i get to my house and go to our backyard. i lay on a lounge chair and start scrolling through tiktok until i come across a certain video:

he's kinda cute i click on his profile and start to look through his videos. im then interrupted by my brother.
"go. talk. to. him."
"i dont know what youre talking about" i say as i turn off my phone
"dont even try ive been standing here for a while"
"i dont want to seem weird"
he pulls me up and walks over to them.
"hi im bryce, this is makenna we just moved in next door"
"hi im jaden, i live here, and this is my friend josh" the cute one responds
"hey"
"how old are you guys?" jaden asks
"18"
"21"
"oh cool, im 18" josh says
"and im 19, do you guys wanna hang out?" jaden asks us
"sure!"
we all instantly become friends and hang outside for a while before going skating and getting food.
