Third POV

Star City- Docks; July 17th, 23:16 PDT

In the cover of the night, two people were unloading a truck. As they removed the first long, flat container an arrow dropped between the two of them. Red fletching showing off and the nock blinks bright red before releasing gas. The two stumbled and the container went flying, popping open to reveal a high-tech gun. Which slid to the feet of one of their associates. He took aim, the barrel gaining three red streaks. He looked at the construction set up over his head, finally zeroing in on Speedy, who seemed to have fully ditched the hat.

"You again!" Brick yelled at the teenager. "I'm starting to get insulted Green Arrow's not messing up my operation personally." Then narrowed his eyes as he aimed for Speedy.

The Arrow-themed protégé dived right grabbing onto the next support column, just barely staying in front of the shots. As Brick shot at the bridge that he nearly grabbed he dropped down one level and ran across that bridge instead. Brick shot just in front of the young man, who changed his momentum so he flipped as he nocked an arrow and released it. Shooting it right down the barrel, causing it to explode in Brick's hand, even shredding his suit.

"Do you know what I pay for suit in my size?!" He yelled even more angry at the Arrow-themed 18-year-old. "Scorch the Earth, boys." He commanded.

The other four raised their guns to do just that, but a blur came through and two of them were suddenly left weaponless. The other two turned towards where the blur ran off too, only for their guns to be knocked out of their hands. Robin swung into an opening in the crates with his happy cackle. Bringing their attention right to Aqualad.

The Atlantean dropped down with his water-bears turning into whips that hit the smugglers in full force. Knocking them into the back of the truck and to the ground, unconscious.

Brick lifted a chunk of concrete and threw it at Speedy who was also using the crates to his advantage as he waited to strike with his already nocked arrow. He came to a stop, bracing himself in a downward diagonal with his foot on one of the crates as he launched an arrow that exploded as it hit Brick's massive shoulder.

It didn't stop the metahuman from throwing another piece of concrete at Speedy. However, this time Speedy jumped out of the way, nocking another arrow as Aqualad jumped where Speedy was with a mace and sword formed from his water-bearers. Chopping the concrete in two. Giving Speedy the opening to hit Brick with a gas arrow.

Speedy walked to the slightly out of breath Aqualad as he released the magic that let his water-bearers take shape. "The cave is perfect. It has everything the team will need." The Atlantean told the older hero.

"For covert missions." Robin said dropping down behind Speedy. "You know, spy stuff."

Kid Flash ran up the crates and landed just shy of the edge with inverted half. "And wait till you see Superboy, Flame, and Miss Martian." He said excitedly. "But I saw them first." (Miss Martian and Flame) 

The gas wasn't enough to take out Brick, which was made clear as he let loose another war cry and threw another piece of concrete at the four conversing teenagers. Speedy, Robin, and Kid Flash all dived out of the way, but Aqualad remained firm. Taking out the concrete with twin maces. Speedy used two arrows that stuck into Brick's chest and released three spurts of flame to knock him back. Though the villain just chuckled. "Tell Arrow he shouldn't send boys to do a man's job." Speedy nocked another arrow taking aim. Brick stood tall his arms out wide. "Go ahead." Speedy grind his teeth as he shot his arrow. Which hit Brick, but for a moment nothing happened, then foam released from the capsule sticking to Brick and trapped him in it.
