| CHAPTER SEVENTEEN | ***
BAKUGOU HAD CONVINCED AIZAWA TO LET YOU GO ON A MISSION WITH THEM. You were even able to fix NIA with the help of the head of their support department, Mei. She not only was able to hack through the system and give access to you again, but also replicate the device for the others joining the mission.
There were going to be three teams: you, Bakugou, and Midoriya were team A, Dabi, Todoroki, and Aizawa were team B, and Hawks, Endeavor, and Tokoyami were team C. You, Dabi, and Hawks knew the layout well but with the new devices and NIA as their AI assistance, everyone had access to the most up to date information.
The objective was quite straightforward. You were to infiltrate the building and acquire a series of files on the profile of assassins known as The Ten, your parents' research on the alternative drug, and the research Dr. L had conducted on your parents.
With the help of NIA you were able to locate them in a supply room on the tenth floor of the headquarters, the last floor of the building. Now you only had to go and get it.
You left the base in army vans in the middle of the night. The Ten only worked at nights. Even their motto was 'work in the darkness to serve the light' with the crossing swords as their logo. Hoping at least a few of them were on a mission, the operation was planned for 1:30 am.
You were provided with a black and grey uniform with a PUV patch on the arms, similar to the once's others were wearing but modified for your needs to keep your guns and knives accessible.
The whole ride was quiet with Midoriya holding his chin in thought and Bakugou scowling behind his mask.
"So, why aren't we infiltrating from the roof again? It's more logical since we need to be on the last floor." You asked the two boys on your team.
"Cause your dumb AI device said there's tighter security on higher floors." Bakugou explained and folded his arms over his chest.
"Yeah, so we can bring them down to lower floors by going in from floor one. That way the supply room will be easier to breach. And we can escape from the roof as we planned." Midoriya added.
You hummed in acknowledgment but there was this weird feeling in the pit of your stomach. You couldn't help but think you were missing something.
"Don't worry. It's not our first mission. And now you have a bunch of heroes on your side. These guys are gonna be toast." Bakugou flashed you a confident and excited smile you'd only seen during fights as the vehicle halted.
"We're here. Let's go."

With the help of NIA, all three teams were able to get into the building. You held your gun out, ready for any assaults coming your way even though NIA's scans showed no evidence of any employees, trainees, or guards.
