Universe (Part 4): The Apocalypse

Chapter 1

Everyone clapped as the person fell back into the curtains. Then suddenly one particular individual came up to show his invention. He began pulling a cart onto the stage. The cart was large and multiple people had to pull it in. Then the cart was pulled enough that the audience could see it. There it was. A large 20 meter tall robotic creature with a red sensor as its eye, and a big ball that had the red sensor on it. It had numerous legs for climbing and sticking to walls. That was the day it began.

"IT JUST KILLED CHARLES! EVERYBODY RUN BACK! RUN BACK!" The soilders yelled as the giant robotic figures began to roam around shooting the soilders with missiles, lasers and rays. The almost alienlike technology has broken out and started a apocalypse. Meanwhile, Brick was the commander during this war against the robots all across the world. Brick was the official commander of military for the United States, therefore one of the most powerful men in Earth, even without powers.

The robots are feared not just because of their powers, but mostly of their resilience. They can survive a atomic bomb and be almost perfectly fine. The only way to truly take them down is by making them stuck, completely destroying them, or using a EMP.

"FALL BACK-" The soilder yelled before getting gunned down by the robots, they all quickly ran to the bunker for cover. They were surrounded by hundreds of the robots and they stomped towards the bunker. Then right as they arrived at the bunker, suddenly Brick came out of nowhere leaping towards the robots.

"SUPER EMP!" Brick yelled out, leaping towards the robot and hitting it. There was then a blast that deactivated all the nearby robots.

"Whew... finnaly a time to rest!" One of the soilders say. Then there was a sudden rumbling and a stomping sound.

"Everyone get back in the bunker and prepare! Something near!" Brick calls out. Then all of the soilders start rushing to the bunker and get ready. The soilders hands sweated as they got ready to fire. The stomping sounds and rumbling seemed to get closer and closer, slowly approaching. Then suddenly a large 100 meter tall giant with human like appearance and bright red eyes appeared.

"What the hell is that...." One of the soilder's say. Then it raised its hand and on its hand is a red circle.

"Those were never produced at all..." One soilder says. Then it got into a almost fighting stance and its large red circle on its hand began to generate electric sparks that are red. Then slowly the red turned into a blue and a large blue orb began to appear, then it thrusted its hand toward, launching the orb toward them.

"EVERYONE WATCH OUT!" Brick yelled out. The bunker windows were automatically closed and the orb hits. There was a instant blast that made a large dome like field with the orb in the middle or the dome. Then suddenly the robots all around began to reawaken magically.

"A... reverse EMP? But how....?" Brick says and then the dome clears up as well as the orb. "EVERYONE OPEN THE WINDIWS BACK UP AND SHOOT THE DAMN BASTARDS!" Brick yells out.

"Why dont you just use another EMP?" One soilder asked as they shot the machine guns at the robots.

"I can't! It has a cooldown!" Brick says. Then he stops. "Close the windows now! I'm about to go ultimate on these things!" Brick calls out. They close the bunker windows and Brick leaps into the air. Then as Brick falls to the ground he closes his eyes and begins to say the words. "Super... Duper... Uber... Cowabunga! MEGA!" Brick yells as he hits the ground. Then there was a large blast that hit all the robots and instantly destroyed them all instantly. Then the blast clears up and they opened back up the windows. They all began to cheer as they have won the battle, for now.

Then the night settled and they all went to test for the night down in the bunker.

The next morning there was a man outside of the bunker yelling out.

"What...? What is that?" Brick said as he wakes up, in a daze from the night. Then there was banging on the rusty metal door. Brick quickly got up and walked towards the door slowly and cautiously. "Who is this?" Brick asked

"General Brick! It's me, a messenger from the recon team! Open the door! I have amazing news and bad news!" The man said. Brick let the man in the bunker and they sat down at a table with water bottles on the table

"What's this news?" Brick asks the man.

"We found out that these things have been making factories and gained some form of intelligence." Brick looked in shock at the man, then he slowly began to tilt his head downward towards the ground.

"What's the amazing then..." Brick asks the man.

"We found out a way to make these things far less resilient." Brick quickly looked back up at the man.

"How much less resilient?" He questioned.

"We don't know how exactly less powerful. All we know is this will give us a powerful advantage."

"Well, how is this going to work then?" He asked the man.

"You see, there is factories that are being built by these things, they are making more of themselves and have even upgraded themselves! But, there is one flaw. Each different kind of robot comes from a certaint factory."

"What does this mean?" He asks the man.

"If we destroy the one factory that produces the very heavily armoured robots than we could shorten their supply and make them more weaker. And luckily the US is the only country that has a factory of this kind. If we infiltrate the factory we could make their supply much less and make them weaker. So, now whats you're plan for this?" The man asks Brick.

"I already have a plan..." Brick says.
