Universe (Part 4): The Apocalypse

Chapter 6

They all began to back away slowly as the units began to look up.

"What? No... was I lied to?" Brick says out loud. Then the units all looked towards Brick. Then there was a sound almost as of a startup.

"Welcome user to the Alpha Robot program. Rebooting successful. Weapons, ready. Under you're command Brick." A feminine voice said from the robots. Brick looked up at the robots as they all stood mightily.

"Glad to have you with us. Now, lets-" Then there was a large object in the sky going down at an accelerating rate. "What is that?' Brick says. The object began to accelerate faster and faster. Then suddenly the robots eyes turned red and started beeping a alarm loudly.

"Attention all personnel, nuke incoming at a rapid state. Please enter saftey in the bunkers." The robot says in a feminine voice again.

"EVERYBODY GET TO COVER!" Brick yells out and puts a barrier around the whole area. Then the nuke lands on the barrier. The barrier was heavily damaged as the wind bursted through the air coming from the nuke. "Anybody injured? Who would do something like this?" Brick says and then he turns and sees a army of tanks and soilders all going towards Brick. They had US flags. Then there was a barrage of bullets hurling towards them rapidly.

"Swlf defense mode initiated." One of the robots said. Than they all started shooting st the soilders and the soilders were all absolutely obliterated. They kept on shooting st eachother until inevitably they overwhelmed their entire area. The robots were all rapidly being shot down and destroyed. Then slowly they began to inch closer and closer. Until Brick was suddenly hit in the back of his neck with a tranquilizer dart.

"No.. everyone... they betrayed us! Damn you America!" Brick yelled out as he slowly fell to sleep and all his men were being gassed to sleep at the same time.

Brick then woke up a few days later, tied up to a bed. Brick struggled trying to get out of the bed.

"No way you could get out." The president says toward Brick.

"Let me out now! Or else I'll be forced to use my power!" Brick says to the president.

"That's not possible. We implemented power stabilizers onto you, you cannot use you're power at all. Now then, you're death and the death of the betrayers of the US shall begin. Thank goodness that you contained the robotic power for us. Now then, let's begin the execution." They then escorted the bed with Brick still on it toward the roof of the hospital building. There were numerous men all tied up with blindfolds covering their eyes and mouth and their hands tied together.

"Let the execution begin and the new era of America begin." The president said. Then they raised their guns all at once.

"NO! YOU CANT SO THIS! STOP NOW STOP!" Brick yelled.

"No point in yelling it'll only waste more oxygen!" The president said and he laughed. Then he raised a pistol at Brick. "You will not be able to survive this shot, you cannot use you're power and therefore as weak as a normal human. Now die!' The president smiled. Then he shot the bullet. But before the bullet landed Brick yelled out these words.

"QUANTUM IMMORTALITY!" Brick yelled out and his pupils suddenly widened. The bullet then somehow missed by a inch. Brick quickly got out of the bed with ease and then threw multiple fireballs at the soilders.

"WHAT? HOW SID YOU GET OUT? NO! THATS IMPOSSIBLE!" The president yelled out. Brick then used his power to untie the soilders and unblindfold them.

"Look who's dead meat. It's you." Bricks eyes then reverted to normal. "I cant believe it worked... good thing it did..." Brick says.
