Universe (Part 4): The Apocalypse

Chapter 2

"Alright everyone... we're here " Brick says as he turns around to look at his soilders. Hundreds of them are awaiting and are ready. All with cars for each squad of 5, some squads have more people.

"General Brick, whats the plan before we go in? And why did we bring the cars, how will they fit in the factory?" One soilder questioned Brick.

"Listen everyone. In here is the #1 enemy of mankind. The second we go in there is the second that you're lives will be in the most danger than ever before. This is the moment all of you're fallen comrades have died for! This is the place where the heavily armored robot types are made! They made this factory! They are gaining intelligence! But we must stop them-" Then one soilder raised his hand.

"So... you're telling me that when we go in there... we'll die..." All the other soilders looked at eachother in fear

"I'm out of here!" One said and he began go run. Brick immediately stopped the man from running away.

"Did I ever say you would die? You're fate lies in you and your comrades hands. Everyone in here wants to make it out alive! So give it all you've got! And I'll assure you we'll make it out alive, we only have one mission. A mission to shut down and destroy the entire factory, this cannot fail, if so then everyone that has died, died for no reason. Now, let's go do this!" Brick yelled out. Everyone went in their cars and got ready. Then Brick blasted open the large door, they all then drove through the smoke and began to rush toward all at the same time. Brick also had a car he drove himself, he went into the car and went foward, leading everyone foward. Then as Brick looked around he saw all the other cars marching down the same hallway as him, then some began to split up into groups. The plan went without flaws until there was a large flash in front of them, there was a large sandbagged area with gun barrels pointing at them.

"EVERYONE RUN!" A soilder yelled out and they all turned around as they got shot at by the machine guns, hundreds of bullets heading towards them and slowly killing them. Then the lights of the factory turned on. The ceiling was 100 meters high with large metal walls forming a hallway in front of them. In the back was the collosal sized door and then there were some points where there was another road leading somewhere. Then the robots appeared, they stood there and shot lasers at Brick and his crew, they could barely outrun the attacks of the robots; a single shot could destroy their car and bodies instantaneously. Brick quickly drove away from the lasers, then he saw a way to turn. He took the turn and managed to get out of the miniguns vision.

"That was too close..." Brick says as he gets a bottle of water and drinks the water. Then he looks around and sees that hes in a dimly lighted almost alley like area. There was only a way going straight, so Brick drove foward with his headlights on. As he drove foward there were strange noises like metal clicking and the sound of buzzing. Then as he drove foward he saw a turn to the right and left. He kept going foward until he got to the turn. He turned left. All around him were machines that were constructing robots that were huge, and there were hundreds of rows of these things.

"How in the world did they even get this amount of materials so quickly in just 5 months?" Brick asked himself as he drove down the factory that was mass producing. As he drove by he three C4 onto the machines, hoping that he could destroy some of the rows. That was until he heard stomping noises up ahead of him. They were loud and made the ground rumble. Brick looked over at the corner where the noise was coming from, then the noise stopped. Brick stared in silence at the corner, knowing what was coming next. Then suddenly the robot leaped up into the air and slammed down onto the ground. Brick got out of his car and quickly leaped towards the robot's red glowing eye. "EMP ACTIVATE!" Brick yelled out and a large pulse exerted from him, the robot's eye immediately closed and turned off. Brick went back onto his car. As he kept driving down the lane of machines and throwing down some C4 he finnaly reached the end or the large lane. He went through the small turned that led towards a glowing room. There were other soilders waiting there, most were injured, others weren't even touched. "Is this everyone?" Brick asks. There were only around 5 squads of people there.
