My Brother's best friend

Beep beep beep beep.
"Alexa wake up. It's time for school... Seriously! Get up!"

"Fine, fine I will."

I got up and my mom left the room.
While I getting ready I herd someone yell my name.

"HOLD ON IM COMING!"

My family annoys me sometimes.

I finished getting ready and went down stairs to find my three best friends, Spencer, Addison, and Carter. Every morning we meet at my house for breakfast and I drive us to school.

"Yummy, I smell pancakes." I say as I go to sit at the table.

Right as I sit down Brock walks down complaining about yet another one of his girlfriends.

"Who is it this time?" I ask referring to his next victim.

"Olivia." He says softly

"Poor girl." Addi jokes

"Ha ha ha. Very funny." Brock says sarcastically. He's a player and he knows it unlike half the other jerks in our school.

*Ding dong*

"Someone get the door." Mom says

Everyone looks at me. I roll my eyes.

"Fine I'll get it."

I walk over to the door and standing there is Ryan.

"Oh hey Ryan." I said trying to make small talk but I'm clearly failing.

"Hey Alexa. Is your brother here? He's my ride to school."

"Oh yeah come in."

He made his way inside and he was looking at me differently than he usually does. He has a smile on his face, like usual, but he looks nervous. I brush off the feeling and make my way to my seat.

"Hey dude." My brother says to Ryan and they bro hug.

"Let's go!" Carter says

"But I'm not done eating." Brock whines

"Why do we need to wait for him?" Spencer says trying for him not to hear.

"We share a car remember. He always goes with Ryan but he got his car taken away so now I have to drive all of us." I say in sort of a whisper.

When we were all done eating, we piled into our car. Ryan called shotgun and smirked at me when he won victory over my brother. Me, Spencer, carter, and Addison were jamming out to Justin Bieber when I caught Ryan laughing at me dancing at a red light.

My cheeks quickly turned a dark shade of red. The light finally turned green after what seemed like years.

We got to school and all went our own ways. I hurried to my locker and got all my supplies for math.

The day went by slow and by lunch time, I had loads of homework.

I met my friends and we sat at our usual table.

"He was totally staring at your butt." I herd this girl behind me say. I turned my head and saw Kaylee.

"KAYLEE!" I yelled so loud the whole cafeteria could hear me.

Kaylee was my best friend since kindergarten and one dreadful day in seventh grade she moved away. She always said we would keep in touch but we never did. I texted her a few times but she never answered.

Kaylee and I have a lot in common including we both have twin brothers. He brother name is Austin. Kaylee, Austin, Brock, and I would always play together as kids. We were inseparable.

Kaylee was my only friend and I was sort of depressed when she moved away but I healed quickly and met my three best friends, Spencer, Carter, and Addison.

"Holy cow, why are you here? I mean it's not a bad thing you're here I'm just wondering why you are at my school." I say trying to spit out the right words

"I'm moving back...Permanently." Kaylee said with a huge smile on her face.

Tonight my parents thought it would be a good idea to have a party with all the football players and their parents. All the parents are going out to eat at some restaurant and the boys and their one tag along are going to be staying home. Alone. With no parents. Great.

I invited Carter, Spencer, Addison and Kaylee but none of them could make it.

Guess I'm alone at this party.

A/n sorry it's short I was trying to introduce the characters personality so it was a just a filler. I promise the next chapter will be longer.
