Georgette stashed the note in her bag and decided to check on Ace inside his office.
The interview seems to have just concluded and now the crew is setting up the lights for the photoshoot.
Incidentally, their eyes met briefly. She can see a hint of a smirk on his stupid face.
She glared at him then went back to her seat outside his office. She can't stand watching his photoshoot. For some reason it made her cringe.
She decided to just review some emails and messages on her phone that needs an urgent response.
From: Social Services, MUHC
Good day, Miss Summer. I have here 3 patients for you. David Clark, 56. Kimberly Smith, 26. Jeslyn Corrs, 2. Attached are the charts of the patients for you to review.
Thank you.
Georgette opened her email and reviewed the cases of each patient and replied to the social worker of McGill University Health Care, her previous workplace before being transferred to Montierre University Hospital.
From: Summer
To: Social Worker, MUHC
Good day, Miss. Thank you for reaching out. I've reviewed the file that you sent. I already transferred the money to your account. Thank you very much for always doing your best in saving these patients.

She smiled to herself. It's indeed nice to help others, especially in a discreet way. Georgette found herself hiding behind the pseudonym, Summer, as a benefactor for patients who are financially incapacitated.
She didn't actually intend to do this. You know, the helping in the shadows. But one day, when she was still an intern at the McGill University Health Center, she overheard one guardian speaking to the social worker of the hospital.
He was asking if there are any programs that he can use to reduce the hospital bill of his wife. Unfortunately, his wife has been hospitalized for quite some time and the bill was already sky-high. To make things worse, the wife needs surgery and the bill should be paid at least half so that the hospital can proceed with the treatment.
When the husband left, she approached the social worker.
"Sorry to interrupt your work. But what was that all about?" Georgette pointed to the man who just left.
"Oh, him? Unfortunately, his wife doesn't qualify for any programs that can reduce their bill so the doctors can't proceed with the surgery. My heart broke for him but it's the hospital's policy."
Georgette just nodded and handed her a piece of paper.
"I see. Contact this number. She might be able to help him." She smiled awkwardly and left.
Later that day, after gathering enough information about the patient, she paid the entire hospital bill of the wife from the money she earned as an agent. She used all the money she earned from that mission where she had no choice but to kill someone for the first time.
She found the husband in tears as he said his thanks to the social worker, his wife in better shape after the surgery.
The guilt will not leave her anytime soon but for some reason, she felt good even just looking from afar. Somehow, she felt her nagging thoughts subside even just for a moment.
After a week, the social worker emailed her again for another patient with the same problem as the first one.
She introduced herself as Summer (well, because it was summer season at that time), an anonymous wealthy benefactor that helps patients who cannot pay their hospital bills. Then, it just went on up until now that she's at Montierre University Hospital.
