I walked onto platform 9 and ¾ with George by my side; our hands entwined together. My head was resting on his arm as we walked towards the train. "I'm gonna miss you," George said to me once we reached a stop.
I looked at him with a small smile before I rose onto my tiptoes and pressed my lips against his. His hands released mine and he reached up to grip my face. I could feel myself smiling through our kiss. We broke apart when a whistle blew; signalling the train was leaving in five minutes. "I have to go. I promise I will owl you," I informed him as I gripped his wrists.
We shared one last quick kiss before he let me go to board the train. I blew a kiss to him as I board the train and began making my way to find an empty compartment. Once I found an empty compartment, I tucked my black crossbody bag into the overhead storage compartment before sitting down. I wasn't alone for long as the compartment door opened and Harry, Hermione and Ron entered the compartment. Harry sat down beside me as Hermione and Ron sat across from us.
"Hey guys," I greeted them once they had sat down.
"Hey Em," Ron greeted back with a smile.
Hermione nodded her head towards me, but Harry remained silent as he was deep in thought. "What's on your mind, Harry?" I asked him which caused him to bring his focus back into the compartment.
"I can't stop thinking about what Draco was doing in Knockturn Alley," he answered which caused me to roll my eyes.
He had owled me about what he had seen that day we were at Diagon Alley and I believed he was seeing too much into something that was nothing. "You need to stop worrying about it. It was nothing," I informed him, but my words didn't sit well with him.
"So what was Draco doing with that weird-looking cabinet? And who were all those people? Don't you see?" he asked before pausing for a moment than continuing; "It was a ceremony. An initiation."
"Stop it, Harry. I know where you're going with this," Hermione interjected as I rolled my eyes.
"It happened. He's one of them," Harry said, and I swear my eyes would be permanently rolled back from the amount I was rolling them.
"One of who?" Ron asked as he was the only one who didn't understand what Harry was implying.
"Harry's under the impression Draco Malfoy is now a Death Eater," I explained to Ron whilst my eyes were narrowing at Harry.
"You're barking. What would You-Know-Who want with a sod like Malfoy?" Ron asked as he stared at Harry with wide eyes.
"Well, then what's he doing in Borgin and Burkes? Browsing for furniture?" Harry asked rhetorically which Ron replied back with; "It's a creepy shop. He's a creepy bloke."
