Shining Armour was walking through the hallways, thinking about how Cadence asked him if he wanted to be her dancing partner at the ceremony in a few days. Of course he said yes, but had a weird feeling deep inside.

'What's with this feeling I have? It's like I feel guilty... but not quite...' Shining thought to himself.

It would be a lie to say that Shining Armour never had any sort of romantic feelings towards Cadence. But does he still have them now? Or are they in the past? It's one thing he just can't seem to figure out.

He was so lost in his thoughts at the moment, and ended up crashing against (Y/n), who also seemed to have a lot on her mind.

"Oh! Sorry (Y/n), I didn't see where I was going." Shining blushed from embarrassment.

(Y/n) gave a simple nod of forgiveness.

"You know... I actually haven't seen you around here much lately. I know you don't have to show up for guarding every single day, but I'm just a little concerned for your wellbeing. We also haven't talked in a while either. We used to have late night conversations everyday, remember?" Shining realized.

(Y/n) closed her eyes and sighed.
"I've been busy, that's all."

"I get that. It's just... I miss talking to you. We used to be really close friends and now we kinda drifted apart." Shining mentioned.

(Y/n) stared at Shining Armour before turning to walk away.

"I'm sorry."

Rainbow Dash was warming up for her sonic rainboom practice, while Fluttershy was with her for moral support.

"Alright Fluttershy! Here, take this timer! I'm gonna need you to record the time it takes me for a sonic rainboom!" Rainbow Dash flashed a big smile and threw the timer at Fluttershy, who struggled to catch it.

"O-okay, just be careful..." Fluttershy said in her quiet voice.

"Haha! Of course I'll be careful!" Rainbow Dash laughed and flew over to her starting point.

"Ready... Set... GO!" Rainbow Dash said signaling to Fluttershy, who started keeping track of the time.

As Rainbow Dash flew up into the air, the clouds around her became darker and colder, eventually getting cold enough that frost began to form on her wings.

Suddenly, a ray of lightning hit Rainbow Dash, causing her to fall back down to where Fluttershy was screaming in panic.

"Oh my gosh! Rainbow Dash!" She flew down to find Rainbow Dash on the ground, still conscious.

"I'm okay, I can still do this!" Rainbow tried to flap her wings to fly, but they were still and refused to move.

The frost on her wings started turning into ice, completely making her unable to move her wings.

"Oh no..."

And with that, Rainbow Dash fainted.

Fluttershy went into full panic mode and started crying while trotting around Rainbow Dash.

Luckily, Twilight showed up to check up on the two ponies, but was met with a worried Fluttershy and a unconscious Rainbow Dash.

"What happened?" Twilight asked with concern.

"Rainbow- she was flying then a lightning hit her... She can't move her wings." Fluttershy said as she tried not to sob.

"What? Lightning? But it was so sunny outside and no clouds to be seen. Why did the weather change so quickly and drastically?" Twilight questioned and looked up at the sky.

The clouds got darker each second, and soon frost began covering the walls and ground. That frost seemed to engulf anything it touched, and turn it into ice.

"Fluttershy! Let's go inside! This ice doesn't seem friendly!" Twilight exclaimed in fear as she grabbed Rainbow Dash to take her inside the castle.

Both ponies sprinted into the castle as fast as they could, avoiding the ice storm going on.

Twilight shot a glance outside through a window.

'Something is wrong. And I need to figure out what it is.'
