The Lost Alicorn (Shining Armor x Reader)

Chapter 2

"Shining! Happy early Birthday!" Twilight hugged Shining Armour, who greeted her and the rest of the 5 ponies at the crystal empire train station.

"Thank you Twilight! I'm so glad you all could make it!" Shining Armour exclaimed with a smile.

"Of course! I'm ready to party!" Pinkie Pie jumped up and down with excitement, as her usual energetic self.

All the ponies walked on their way to the crystal castle, talking about their daily lives.

Cadence met up with Twilight and the other ponies once they arrived at the castle. Of course, she and Twilight did the usual "Sunshine, Sunshine!" greeting.

"Alright everypony, It's time to get to work. Pinkie you're in charge of decorations and sweets along with AppleJack. Rainbow Dash, you're going to work on your sonic rainboom, right?" Twilight went over the plans for this day.

"Duh!" Rainbow Dash said with a smirk.

"Okay. Rarity, you're working on outfits. Fluttershy, you're gonna train a bird choir."

Fluttershy nodded.

"Great! Now that we have everything sorted out, we can get to-"

"Shining! One of the royal guards is injured- Oh, I didn't realize we had visitors here..." A crystal pony rushed into the room, cutting Twilight off mid-sentence. The pony cowered a bit after noticing the amount of ponies there at the moment.

"Haha, that's okay! Don't worry about it." Shining Armour comforted the pony, who had an apathetic and serious but still slightly embarrassed expression on her face.

"Oh, everypony, this is my good friend (Y/n). She's my royal guard partner, but most of the time she's helping me around with other royal duties."

"Pleased to meet you all..." (Y/n) said in a quiet, monotone voice.

Everyone greeted (Y/n) happily, but Twilight observed the poker faced pony's looks and behavior while she talked to Shining Armour about the injured guard. Twilight noticed how she wore a cloak over her translucent crystal body. She had (H/c) hair, and shiny but lifeless (E/c) eyes. (Y/n)'s cloak was big enough to cover her cutie mark area, so Twilight didn't catch what her cutie mark is. She wondered how this pony was so close to her brother, and how they even met in the first place.

Twilight decided to just forget about it and focus on the ceremony plan.
"Well then! I guess we should start working! I'll be checking up on each of you to see how everything is going."

Everypony agreed on that plan and left to go work on their tasks. Twilight watched as (Y/n) and Shining left together to check up on the guards, having an unsettling feeling wash over her.
