Chapter 4

Well... It's been a while. But I'm finally back with an update, sorry. I deleted this app bc it took up too much storage and just forgot about my account. Honestly, I forgot the plot to this book. I'll try to improvise as I write though, but it might get confusing. My writing is very rusty as well, just a warning!

Everypony surrounded Rainbow Dash, who was unconscious near a blazing fireplace, the room being filled with sounds from the storm outside along with conversations about the entire situation. The mane 6, Cadence, Shining Armor, and all of the guards were there in the room as well.

Except (Y/n).

The mysterious pony was nowhere to be seen. Twilight glanced outside a grand window, observing the angry snow and hail. She thought about asking Shining where she could've gone, although now wasn't the best time. She'll question him more about (Y/n) later.

"Ugh... Huh!?"

Rainbow Dash jolted awake, eyes wide with confusion and shock.

"What the heck happened to me? Did I faint!?"

Pinkie Pie jumped up and down, beginning to recreate a dramatic act of the events. "Yeah! You were zooming through the sky when suddenly the weather went crazy! And then... KABOOM! A lightning hit you! You fell down after that, like NYOOM! Your wings were also freezing up, but now they thawed out!"

Pinkie Pie must've had too much cupcakes.

"Er... Somethin' like that. But we can talk about that later. How ya feelin' Rainbow?" Applejack asked with concern, Fluttershy sniffling right next to her.

Rainbow Dash groaned and shook her head.

"Ow! My head... I'm dizzy. Anyone got water?" She asked, with Rarity soon fetching her a glass.

Princess Cadence cleared her throat and held a serious but soft expression. "Rainbow Dash, I'm not asking you to fly right now, but can you move your wings at all?"

The rainbow haired pony attempted moving one wing, but it only slightly budged. This caused her to go into a panic, jumping up and grabbing the nearest pony at her side. In this case it happened to be poor Fluttershy, who began panicking with Rainbow Dash as well. "NO! I can't lose my ability to fly! Twilight, do some hocus pocus magic and fix it!"

Twilight closed her eyes and sighed. Her mind was going insane with multiple thoughts racing at the same time. The weather, the ceremony, the artifact from Zecora, her brother's birthday, (Y/n), and now Rainbow Dash's wings.

Why does everything have to be so chaotic?

"I... I'm speechless to say the least. First off, I'm assuming the ceremony party is postponed by now. Is that true Cadence? Shining?"

"Absolutely. We can't risk having ponies getting hurt with this weather. We've also advised all residents to remain in their homes until further notice, for their own safety." Shining Armor stated rather formally.

Twilight nodded and looked back out the windows. "I don't know what's going on, but I have a feeling this is more than just bad weather. Do you have any idea? Any knowledge helps. We need to stop this now before it gets worse..."

Cadence stepped into the conversation. "Now that I think about it, occasionally a loud flute-like whistle has been heard from a distance at midnight. Nobody has a clue as to where it comes from, but it manages to awaken even the deepest sleepers in the Crystal Empire."

"Wait. A flute-like whistle?" Twilight's eyes widened.

"It's heard maybe once a week, but yes. Is it relevant?"

Twilight was silent for a couple of seconds. Puzzle pieces moved around in her mind trying to find matching connections. Finally she spoke.

"I'm not sure... But I have an idea."
